  1. 1) So why keep posting about them on a 350z ICE car forum? 2) So why keep posting about them on a 350z ICE car forum? 3) So why keep posting about them on a 350z ICE car forum?
  2. Just over 2 years on and the Maclaren 720s is a sniff off the P1 times (1.5 sec) at the same track where the P1 was quicker than 918 & LaF at 25% of the cost, with no electric. Feel free to keep your electric nonsense or should i say sh*t
  3. Is it not a hybrid? Or they going in the the EV pile too
  4. If i can find it i will try and catch Pikes Peak and of course IOM TT, maybe catch a bit of LM too.
  5. So whats everyone looking forward to this year, the f1 thread seems dead in the water, so where has everyone focused their attention? Personally cant wait for another season of MotoGp, think we are watching history in the making with Marc Marquez, breaking records left, right and centre, 4 championships out of the 5 years he has been in the top flight, 45 poles out of the 90 starts, 63 podiums, holds just about about every youngest rider accolade. Cant wait.
  6. You can be as nice as you like, but you cant bury your head in the sand forever, well some can and obviously do.....thats not to say Jaguar/Land Rover dont have their faults of course, however, it would be absolutely futile, completely naive and to be fair completely stupid and not worthy of reponse to try and compare the build quality of a Tesla to Jaguar/Land Rover, although i am sure its coming in the next few threads.....

  8. Plus it will be infinitely better quality in comparison to the notoriously shoddy Teslas.

I probably plan to do half that a year and maybe 2 - 3 years ownership.

Yes Litchfields warranty covers any tuning they have done. so all in all pretty comprehensive.

A general for the masses. Pretty sure a GTR will be the next car, i really cant find anything that will tick so many boxes, thats not to say there arent better cars in certain departments, but as an all in one, its going to be hard to beat. So looking at prices, to be in a 11 plate plus so i can get a warranty, its going to be circa £7k plus over an older model, warranty will be £1500 - £1700 a year, so with some man maths over 3 year ownership, 12k give or take. Would i not be better off putting that 12k to one side for possible eventualities, bar a blown engine which is very rare, that would cover most things if not more. I am not particularly set on the 11 plus, it offers no real additions to me, i would want stage 2, 3 plus and decent suspension anyway, which are the main additions it would seem. Thoughts please gents?
  13. I appreciate that involved a hell a lot more effort than just as you say throwing on some aviators etc, but still the same motive, wanting to look good
  14. Pay close attention to the link i sent Bikeracer, you only have a limited time to reject.
  15. Yep you can beat supercharger whine, my harrop charged vx was intoxicating. Not sure i would be posting videos on a public forum showing a speedo in excess of a 100 on the road though
  16. Lets see what 2400 voices + do, probably not a lot sadly, but that seems the way of this world, as Jimmy carr once said: Wanted: small minority to spoil it for the rest of us
  17. People know, they just dont care (had a pop charger on my 350) and most prefer the induction noise to a handful of extra hp that is pretty much irrelevant, but we have been down this road many times
  18. I would be absolutely b*gg*red if after spending 35 plus grand on a car i would HAVE to spend money to get the suspension correct and within tolerance, regardless that it will improve the handling over stock set up. Reject it, then its their problem, but whilst ever you play the nice guy they will just bend you over with varying trips down there to try this, that or other. You only have a limited time though, so act quick. http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/tips-and-advice/your-new-car-rights
  19. Well its not like Doc didnt tell you above, i really wish people would pay more notice to people in the know and take whatever Nissan or others say with a pinch of salt. Sorry bud, but going to Nissan UK wont help one bit, if you are really not happy reject the car as there is no way they can change it.
  20. Whats the price differences between models?
  21. Isnt that the same thing
  22. ^^^^ Yep, but proper suits, tailor made. I was chatting to a mate who i am launching a product with soon and i said if i make any sort of money i am going straight to Saville Row.
  23. Just a std V or V1 imho are far nicer than a V11, they look so much more purposeful and should be very easy to come by.
