At 18" etc most are heavier than oem rays and also lmgt4's Not strictly true, the wheels listed above are the same in 18" variety, probably lighter if you could find Regamasters in 18 (very rare). Just giving the op some options of very similar weight 18" wheels if he doesnt like Rays.

Dont think there is any real performance to be gained (unless pipe sizing if going to forced induction), its mainly just a sound preference.

I was gonna say the same. I like that look. I'm actually contemplating a full flocking of the dash. Does flocking not fade and get dirty very easy? I think flocking is pretty tough, i guess it has to be in the motorsports arena. But would just go down a full alcantara route if it was the whole dash, but personally i think that would look just too much of one thing. Whatever goes or gets done to the centre consul will be replicated on the door cards at some point.

Did think about smoothed and painted as an option, would probably go the same House of Kolor Kandy purple that the wheels are if i went that option, at least it then follows a theme.

Looking for some ideas for a centre console refresh, get rid of that plasticy look and feel. I will trim the main dash panels with alcantara, but i am stuck with what do with console. I dont really want to follow the, wrap in carbon or even carbon overlays as so far the ones i have seen look awful, in my eyes. I would like to go for a oem style, high standard look, but cant find anything that inspires or would work with the alcantara dash. I thought about a snake skin wrap to be a little different, just not sure it would work. Any ideas or links to ideas most welcome.

Interesting topic. I always hear the Z as being described as heavy, where as Rx7's where i have just come from as lightweight! Without getting into what a zed weighs, i have read early Z's weigh 1450 - 1500 kg, rx7's 1250-1300kg. Loose 100 kilos out of a 350z and imho, 1350kg ish is a pretty light car. By all accounts loosing that isnt that hard, seats, spare wheel etc Pretty sure you would notice 100 kgs or more.

I am not sure if the mention of depression was medically diagnosed or you have come to that conclusion yourself, i dont mean that to sound condescending. I was diagnosed with depression last year at 42, first time in my life with no previous history, i am a very happy go lucky character usually, hence it was a very alien concept to me! No one thing had bought this on, maybe just a culmination of things over a couple of years. I was given options, drugs, counselling etc but decided to try and do it without drugs and just the support of family and friends. My life was/is good, just there was something there i couldnt shake and no matter how much i knew my life was ok, although things could be better of course, i just couldnt feel happy, even though i desperately wanted too. It was a massive eye opening experience. I mention all this with a caveat to what i have read on your post buddy. Under no circumstances put your future happiness/well being in the hands of someone else. You MUST be happy with yourself before you can offer anyone else a future imho. I wont express my personal views on your partner (ex or not) as you probably wouldnt want to hear it. Get YOURSELF happy buddy and when you are happy you will always know you can be happy with or without anyone else

Interesting that on commentary they mentioned a lot of the major teams have complained and asked Pirelli to change construction but teams such as Force India have blocked the change due to the fact they are actually getting some decent results because of the tyre.

Lorenzo has broken his left hand side collarbone in FP2 so very very unlikely to race tomorrow. Marquez has a fracture or two in his hand, but will race. A week gap and then two left hand circuits coming up, doesnt bode well for his championship this year. Yams will do well at Assen, so Jorge has to hope Rossi and Cal can keep the Hondas out of the big points

Mmmmm, not sure the smoke has any relation to whether the spoiler is adding downforce buddy, or you have just discovered a cheap means of wind tunnel testing There are actually a lot of nice spoilers out there (although i prefer none), but i just think £1k for a bit of frp or even carbon and some billet legs is just pants down pricing.

I think they were saying with the engine allotment, 4 engines need to last 3 races and 1 4 races to make it work, i guess the extra few minutes of say 5 extra laps would make for a small disadvantage, but perhaps not noticeable.
