Why would 19's affect the speedo??? It makes zero difference to the size of the actual alloy!!!!!!!!!! unless ive read that wrong going from a 18" alloy to a 19" alloy does well change the size of the alloy? Hasty post and reads completely wrong your right, lol, an 18 or 19 makes zero difference to speed readings, its all tyre size as has been said

Apart from a Marquez error (or other rider error taking him out), rain is the other thing that can likely interfere with a podium. You never know with racing and i guess thats why i love bike racing on the most part, better than the precession that is F1 at the moment.

That tyre pic is just scary Awesome race at Motegi, Lorenzo was just sublime and it struck me today, apart from his accident earlier in the year, just how awesome he is under pressure, inch perfect lap on lap and coupled with seeing his pit board saying Marquez + "x" and the gap getting smaller and still not being pressured into even the smallest of a mistake is stunning. Its interesting, is F1 now more popular as a motorsport or entertainment? A lot like XFactor, is xfactor about finding hidden talent or entertainment/money? Do motorsport fans really travel to qatar or the yas village marina or is it just a show that people go to see. If its a show, they want to see entertainment, not one dude out front and one dude who particularly doesnt seem to enamour the paying punters?? There are some very interesting and intelligent comments within that thread and lots of rubbish too of course, comments surrounding Newey, traction control, vettel and red bull, the fia etc etc Its worth a read if your bored and have an open mind.

Personally i dont think the 350z is near the realms of chavery, its mainly too expensive to buy and insure just yet. After just coming from Rx7's which definitely descended into the realms, at 25 you could get classic car insurance on them which was cheap on a ltd mileage. The early warning signs on the forum to look out for: Text speak and the word innit (you think i am joking) Awful punctuation and grammar User names, example from rx7 forum, custombodiez, again watch out for spelling Low ball offers on things for sale, usually from the members with user names such as the above And a slightly less but still important factor, its difficult to find an un molested one for sale If the above becomes frequent, sell up quick The problem with it all stems imho from the sale price, they bought the cars cheap, usually the lower end of the market, the cars broke or were crashed and they have no money to repair them properly and so begins the cycle, suddenly you have a bunch of cars that are good for the scrap heap, they are advertised cheap just to get out of them, the market perceived value is drastically lowered, if you see a car advertised at £3k it makes the ones at £6k seem ridiculous no matter how nice they are and so on and so forth.

I am not sure who i dislike most, the R8 driver for getting seriously close or the bikers for wearing jeans.

What sort of difference in noise levels between the two guys, anyone tested with berks and then silenced decats or vice versa? Or any particular way you could could describe the actual audible difference, louder, more raspy etc

My car tested 88db at Combe with std cats and a HKS True Dual and was a noticeable improvement over std Andy. I recently fitted silenced decats and reckon i will still be under Combes strict 100db.

A front side window is allowed to be tinted, but it must let 70% of the light through, every car will differ in shading depending on colour of interior, what % you do the other windows etc

Rays will be 400 (min), spoiler fitted and painted 140 (min) and then interior 350 (min). Thats almost 900 quid. Better just spending a bit more and getting a UK GT to begin with? IMO. Does look clean though for a 2003. Makes sense if thats how you want to go, but a big % swap out their alloys (hence there are loads of rays for sale), personally i dont like leather, although this one had it so another £350 off your list and spoilers are personal taste. The only thing i was really interested on when buying was it came with Brembos, would have had to been pretty cheap if it didnt. All depends how you want the car to end up, if your happy with a UK Gt Spec look then thats what you should look for, if you plan to change a few bits, dont see it matters too much. Cant have been too badly priced if its been sold

Sorry its 4 days, you have an approved trackday operator list but its pretty extensive and you also have to inform the company when you attend an event. 10% excess (minimum of £500) on any accidental damage or fire I am with Reis, anyway, the point of thread is more overall costs without getting into the bun fight that is insurance Just for your own car or someone else's too if you happen to take someone out with you? Think its just your own, will have a thorough read
