  1. I wonder, how many of these cars have you seen in the flesh to pass such critical judgement. i was never that smitten with the 720s and then went to MacLaren with a mate to see one, my mind was changed instantly, it is a thing of beauty, same with the new Nsx, very very pretty car up close and personal, but quite dull in photos.
  2. And there i was thinking our ved was emissions based I do agree with Ekona & Payco though, if anyone is worried about less than £8 a week you must have some pretty serious financial issues
  3. Following on from a previous discussion, so £225k base, same as a reasonably well specced 720s, i know where my money would go. Seeing as AMT likes to discuss styling, i reckon the DBS will look stunning in black and in the flesh, dont think the red does it any favours at all, but the much more important bits.... 715hp, 664 lb ft, 211mph and a V12, woaw, that will be some GT car
  4. I dont disagree with anything you have said, there are many aspects that make a car appealing, as i said which everyone seems to have missed, the rs3 isnt my cup of tea, but there is no denying it is an absolutely awesome car, same as the a45amg which i do like, they are both leagues ahead of a 370z, trim, handling infotainment. performance etc etc, looks are subjective as you well know so a matter of opinion so irrelevant discussing opinions as we are all different as you say. Sipar would make a very rare example i bet many wouldnt think about returning and do seem to recall Sipar being very happy with his change at the start of his ownership
  5. I see it asked quite often on here, need more than two seats to fit in kids, dogs, golf clubs, bikes etc etc but still want something fast, its the one car fits all, blisteringly quick and can chuck all your schizzle in should you need, a mate has one as his only car, does the family stuff and still puts a smile on his face, not sure a tdi a6 will make you smile
  6. Clearly i dont love the NSX (as above), but if you are going to talk utter nonsense in REPLY, i.e its a flop, everyone would buy a 720's, shot to pieces by critics, whos bought them and more etc etc do expect some factual discussion/links
  7. How about the 100 that were pre ordered and sold in the UK and a waiting list if you want to order one to spec (we've been through that ), and no they havent been shot to pieces by critics, appreciate the car for what it is, not what you "think" or want to believe. But your are right, lets get back to the Type R unless you want to discuss facts, not opinion. Type R, unanimously ugly as sin, get one you will love it http://www.evo.co.uk/honda/nsx https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/honda/nsx
  8. Exactly and people are choosing to buy the NSX regardless of its cost, other cars available and any other reason you have tried to question why people are buying them.
  9. So on your assumption, why does anyone buy a SLS, 911 etc etc when they can afford a 720s or Huracan for example?
  10. I always seem to pop up on these threads and usually after Payco, so i will just say, i am not trolling, but i for one say and know this a 350/370 forum but, i dont think you will miss the 370z one bit, why would you, rs3's are total weapons (although not my cup of tea) Its like splitting up with a girlfriend, for a while you think you will never meet anyone as nice, few months down the line and count your lucky stars you got out of it and into something way way better!
  11. I went to MacLaren Knightsbridge with a mate to look at a few, they had a 720s there, with a few necessary options you are minimum £225k plus, 30% isnt a little more on top, its another level and a different price bracket. But a truly to die for car, not something you can say about a Nsx.
  12. Speak to Humpy on here, he sells water softeners if you want to go down the domestic route and he couldnt be a more helpful chap I cant think i would spend money on one just to wash the car, might as well get some other benefits into the bargain!
  13. You seemed to have missed the point, the article said it would debut at the 2018 Tokyo Motor Show, there is no 2018 Tokyo Motor Show, 2019 is the next one I also presume this (when it does arrive) will be pitched against the new Supra, so will probably be in line with that.
  14. Be interesting to see it break debut at the 2018 Tokyo Motor Show.... Especially as the next Tokyo Motor Show is 2019
  15. So why have so many pulled out? I have never been but if i were to go i think i would be much more interested in classic lemans, has anyone done that?
  16. Sorry dude, it seemed a very specific question and wondered if i had missed something in the new rules. Exhaust generally wont wont make any difference and sports cats have always been hit or miss with passing even on the old rules so you take your chances with them!
  17. Well you learn something new everyday Would i now presume though if your car is deemed unroadworthy (major fail) insurers will have more weight to not paying out should you crash?
  18. Exactly how i read it, but you will be driving with no mot, so insurance will be invalid etc
  19. I thought an mot certificate was invalid as soon as you take a new test, even if you have i.e a month left? So spurious isnt it, you have a dangerous problem and are not allowed to take it away, but if your mot certificate is still valid your allowed, even though you have a dangerous problem. Seeing as your back tspar, what new exhaust rules are you on about?
  20. I guess this is all to try and remove "dangerous" vehicles from the road (no bad thing), but much with anything these days, its only the generally law abiding citizens who suffer i.e take their car away, sort the problem and go for a retest, the dangerous pieces of sh*t out there are driven by people who dont even have an mot or their mate owns a garage.
  21. Thats what i thought hence i was curious or missing something?
  22. Yes i know, but what are the rules surrounding exhausts?
