We always book with 1st Tickets and have to get the order in early otherwise one of hoards of others will get our yearly spot ! plenty of takers.

Thought I was going to get that question !!! Gearbox on the Roadster is a bit iffy, wife loves the car but would prefer a auto. I'm planning getting a 350Z coupe and making a track day c out of it.

Can anyone recommend replacement seats for the Z. I find them a bit unsupportive and on a long run my bum and leg ache ! Also, i'm not a fan of leather.....

Has anyone done this ? is it possible ? who can do it for me ? how much roughly will it cost ? .... so many questions !

Hi all. When cold, even on a nice day I struggle to get the car into gear until t's warmed up. Then,2nd gear never engages smoothly, it doesn't crunch, it just doesn't like going in and fights me and sometimes it feels like something is knocking. If I am careful and slow with the change into 2nd either up or down, its not bad. Gearbox oil never changed 46,000 miles. Will an oil change fix this or is it a syncro problem ? Which gearbox oil is best please ? Thanks - Martin

There are plenty of sites left but not the popular ones. If you want to guarantee The Houx for instance, you have to book as soon as you come home. Some sites still show the Houx as "make enquiry" or similar but in reality they are treble or more over subscribed by July. If you want Beausejour fill your boots always space there.

I know it sounds daft, but I think you may be leaving it too late to arrange anything ! I have been 11 years in a row and most people like me who go regularly have already booked especially if they go in groups like most people. I always go in my van but next year it is in the Z Roadster as we are staying at a private site. Good luck with the idea.

I had this so replaced the clutch slave cylinder. Job done.

Chances are the manufacturer has supplied the wrong info, simple as that. My Vauxhall van states Blue on the V5 but its silver. The van is legit, just an admin error.

Anyone know any specialist in Kent or home counties who can repair a couple of worn bits on a convertible roof or a company who supplies and fits new soft-tops please ?

I have a Roadster in excellent condition and would love to come along. Hi. I go every year and camp at the Woodlands site. Although it's a bit more money, it has its own pub and transport which we like. I spoke with one of the organisers last year and he said you need to book a year in advance if you want to display your cars. The event is amazing and after 11 years of doing the Le Mans 24 hours, I actually prefer this now (still do both !) I think it would be a good idea to gauge interest and see how many people would go, then contact Silverstone for a possible pitch for 2016

Mine is doing exactly the same, opens no problem then gets 95% of the way but the long U shaped bracket wont engage into the hole with the two rubber covers. Have put lots of grease in the hole, can activate the catch inside with my finger but the bloody bracket wont go in the hole ! lots of pushing pulling and generally moving it about can finally get it in but ive had the roof up and down 30 + times this morning and its gone in twice with a fight and two of us operating it.
