While we're on the subject of tyre size... what would people advise on changing from the standard?
I want to keep 45 profile because I've gone back to standard springs (was previous lowered) and the gap in the arch looks like a 4x4 now with 40!
I don't use the car on track, so I don't see the point in going beyond the standard width for a change that I can only imagine would be negligible in any road driving.
That is, unless anyone has a "I fitted slightly wider tyres and it changed my life" stories....
Should never keep your profile size as its the % on the width of the tyre.. So 40 profile on a 265 tyre will be lower to a 40 profile on 225 tyre..
Depending on the size tyres you go for, if its a lot of difference between front to back, it could throw out your handling..

It's always on as default unless you manually turn it off. So from a safety POV it's fine.
Fuse?
I dont like having it on ha ha I like being able to feel the car, not having an ECU tell me to chill out, thats what women are for ( not sexist )
Might be a fuse but surely the other light would be out to??
Might be a bulb in the clocks?
Only a 7/8 min job to take off..

Ok, so it looks like the folks who pmd me are no longer able to attend, or already have a ticket. Please let me know if you'd be interested in the spare stand pass + ticket ASAP.

I think ds2500 might be slightly better. But a problem for me with them is they are dustier than yellow IMO and the second thing is although they are strong they lack feel. Hard to describe.
That is actually a good description, bloody good pads but don't feel as "definite" as the yellows, they do the job just as well but somehow the yellows tell you with more authority, he's right, it is hard to describeI think ds2500 might be slightly better. But a problem for me with them is they are dustier than yellow IMO and the second thing is although they are strong they lack feel. Hard to describe.
Think I might go for the yellows then and pocket the change! Thanks for the reviews

Can't go wrong with yellowstuff. Fitted lots of them before and never heard any problems with them. Are you doing discs aswell?
Leaving discs for now. Just want to make sure pads are going to last longer than 4 months, and still have decent stopping power

Take the spare out the boot and you can fit a full set
Sub box and amp out jobby. Yawn!!! Lol

I trust you are only using one, winker
Correction, you are jesting????? otherwise my worries about you will be confirmed
Haha the only eye lashes I have are the ones on my face!
Although a boosted zed with eye lashes would baffle some drivers lool

Plain and simple jap size plate.. Not too small, not too big, avoids unwanted attention unless coming across a right snot bag...

Very pleased with DS2500s myself but have actually found them pretty dusty.
I use yellowstuff and they are brilliant. Perfect bite from cold, cant fade them even when I tried on the stelvio pass and ring and I dont find mine dusty alot less than oem
used them on my previous bmw equally as good, might even try blue stuff next
Either way I'm going to be blowing dust off them.. Thanks for reviews! So humming and haring between the two thou!

They can't be the wheels he's chosen, I'm assuming he had a quadruple blowout and had 4 spares in the boot
Fair play to him if he did! I could only fit 2 wheels on the passenger seat
