I'm not going to be one othose guys

What grabs your attention? Trying to think of topics that will appeal to a large crowd. I know you can't please everyone. Some recent topics that i've seen which made me click on... Top 7 Mods which are illegal in most states/countries. The Vape game is killing the car scene ( this was a sarcastic article created to generate traffic) - I really don't want to go down that route. Can anyone think of some good topics?

From what I believe, I think the Calendar is manually entered - I.e. the mods have to forwarded any events they seem fit onto the Calendar.

Traitor

Hence I'm not writing it I click on a lot of those links that are - look at harry potter cast x amount of years on etc. And the website is horrific, it's like 1 character per page, laid out horribly, million adds and stupidly slow site.

Actually I need you to write me something You way of portraying stuff is awesome

Basically I'm looking at generating some more traffic for my website, one of my few ideas was publishing articles to share across social media. Fundamentally it's going to always be a car related blog/article. I guess I'm looking for some tips, suggestions and volunteers really. From what I've seen out there, there are many faults with various car related websites that are quite popular (even with their faults), such as Grammar, Layout, Designs and my biggest pet hate, ADVERTS/POPUPS. As most sites are in it for the money, they will plow their website with adverts to generate income. I can offer you a clean, fast, responsive, eye please webpage to display your article I've already got one article under way which I think is pretty unique - 'A Returning Car Enthusiasts View on Todays Car Scene' Which is being created by someone well known on here But I think it will be insightful as they hadn't been to a car show in over 10 years. Since then a lot has changed. I'd quite like some suggestions on what people would like to read. Tips - Such as, How many characters is too much before you get bored/ Topics - Just some that came to me were, Stance - Hate it or Love it?, Daily Driver? The costs of being a drifter. As you can see, I need some inspiration, and people willing/wanting to write up content for these What do you all think?

Yeah, will be interesting to see your total weight saving.
-
great Idea to log all the weight changes.

Just a very and I mean VERY basic myth, at least 1 hour multplied by beer bottle. So if you drank a create of 12 beers, and had your last one at 2am, I wouldn't drive til atleast after 2pm the next day. Like that's not a fact or anything, just a myth to give you a rough indication when drinking bottles of beers

+1 For Chris, Wallboos are awesome, supplied all my decals, super fast delivery too

Hi, first time 350Z owner (drifter) looking for advice.

Yeah, because there arent any other drifter apart from Team Tarmac ............ OP, you have picked an excellent car, it will make the S and R chassis feel rev obsessed and snappy. If you can stretch to it a 2 way would be much better than a welder, Ive heard of snapped driveshafts from cars running welders. As for the rest, fully agree, if youve got some seat time behind you then youll notice the limited lock straight away and my handbrake was beyond useless, the long term plans need to be how to fit a decent number of wheels in it and losing some weight, Ive long said it but at 1250KG with a 2 way and coilovers the Z33 would be about as close to the perfect non ground up built driftcar as you could find. Considering Matt and Steve were the ones who gave advice to pretty much anyone on the forum asking about drifting, It only made sense to point them out. Didn't say TT is the only place for information did I? Just some people use facebook more frequently than this forum, so figured it'd be more helpful to the OP. -
Why is it against the law Well.... Would you buy a blue peter badge?
-
Do you want some NOS stickers as well? I honestly wouldn't, I saw a bog standard golf the other day with Hoonigan decals on it -.- Only ever put decals related to your car on. Liberty Walk are used on featured cars, thus you wont find them as they're a novelty. Only option is sending a vector to a sticker maker.

I think that will be my route for future pages (if that's feasible) It started off as a small website but it's expanding fast, so need to start up my game and learn some more CSS
-
Looks like you've done a pretty damn good job I'm more than happy to help if I can, so gimme a shout if you have any questions etc... Cheers dude much appreciated. Before I expand it any more, I think I now want to get all the creases ironed out. I.e. get rid of any unused blank spaces (this mainly happens in mobile view as I've been building it just as desktop view for now) make sure there is consistency across all my pages, then once that is done I'd like to carry on upgrading my 'merchandise' page as it's very minimal at the moment as I was in a rush setting it up to allow ease of payments. There's no E commerce plugins used atm, that's how basic it is
-
Sweet, may have a couple of questions, as I've basically been learning whilst building. managed to solve my problem for now by using 'background-size: contain' on my images to allow them to fit on a mobile view.
-
Can't think of any scenario's where this is needed :S Not even on track... 350z aren't a super quick car /thread
-
That's my plan. The basic theme is responsive, but I've tweaked it so much that most of my additions aren't fully responsive I've managed to make the header/buttons cascade down for mobile devices. Thats about as much as my responsive coding goes
-
good spot.

So I've got a WP website, fair bit of content now and the traffic is increasing. I don't like to publish things half arsed. So my main issue is some of my pages need tweaking to be fully responsive. Websites perfect on 1920x1080 but in this day and age most people view on tablets/mobile devices. So looking to see if there is anyone out there who could give me some pointers on where to start. Here's my home page - http://www.teamtarmac.com/ And here is my new page created - http://www.teamtarmac.com/events-main/uks-biggest-car-shows-of-2016/ Just looking for some tips Mods - I've removed my Merchandise page as last time my thread got deleted for asking advice on the website because it had a merchandise tab on it.

Welcome bud Bizz is your best bet to speak to for advise, although his is far from Stock. Could try Aliveboy, but he's sold up now. and Stevo got banned. If you're on facebook - Head over to https://www.facebook.com/groups/972833969441252/ You shall get all the info you will need from our UK drifters -
