  1. Price drop. More or less insanely cheap now.
  2. Price drop. It's more or less free now.
  3. Yep. And that was in July !!! The last time I could bring myself to go to Hull. The bridge is incredible and the old city centre is highly commendable. #underratedcity
  4. Isn't the area of the tyre likely to be compressing/extending multiple times a second? As plastidip is a "second skin" on top of the surface, don't you think it might be torn to pieces by the flexing? That said, it's worth a punt for the price.
  5. Saw this on the '86 forum in a sig, made me titter. "Friends don't let friends plastidip."
  6. When I fitted treadwear the sandpaper is for roughage, it's the three scrubbings before hand with degreaser that are the ballache. You need to shift as much oil, grease, ooomscah from the prepared surface as you can before even breaking out the sandpaper. When you think the tyre area is clean, wash it twice more and see the black STILL on your cloth. Also be ready to wipe up excess, my first tyre was messy but you get into it after that.
  7. That's because the first rule of currency club is... ...send it to a different address.
  8. I've attempted 4 test drives in the recent past, 2 just gave me the keys, one I needed a chaperone and one told me to buy it first. What the hell is wrong with these "don't do test drives" people? Who do they even sell cars to?
  9. Nope, the stripped out Golf R thing on Cup2s is atm. Isn't the Golf R AWD?
  10. 18" RAYS, one piece, forged, very light, built for fast. Easy to clean.
  11. Second one looks cooler. I wouldn't get too hung up on the benefits, if you're really after cold air you need a vent.
  12. I like it, it's the sort of thing a sick hot hatch should be. The trip exhausts are a joke though, need to kill the middle tiny one.
  13. I took mine into toyota 3 times and they had it for a day at a time and said there was nothing wrong with it and I needed to drive it more to get the charge going, would be ok but it was just a weekend toy I'll have to get used to things being under warranty, the battery is already on its way from Tayna. I might try and get the condensation in the tail lights and fog under warranty thought, worth a shot!
  14. Lower centre of gravity than a Cayman, GTR, Evo, STI and nearly that of an LFA. I don't know what this means but it sounds very impressive
  15. Thanks Chris. I was reading about this just last night, had a look this AM and it's still got the original 48ah Panasonic in there, going to go for an Exide 65ah replacement and hopefully nip that in bud.
  16. ? it's the same car same suspension Nope, the suspension is different between the two cars. Stiffer on the rear on the 86, stiffer on the front on the BRZ. The difference is far more noticeable than you might think, too. Without knowing the mechanics of it, the BRZ is harder to provoke into oversteer than the GT86. Even in the wet it feels less boisterous. Well I consider myself told but then I've only driven the 86 tried to persuade my mrs to buy one but she bought the 2.0 tfsi tt instead unreliable crap It's not like it's night and day, in fact, if the 86 came in WR blue, it'd be one of those on the drive way. I think, in my two drives, the different rubber between the 86 and the BRZ may have more impact than my ability to read the "feel". It's not like I'm doing 10 10ths!

  18. Get MPSS whilst they're still carrying stock! They are largely gone now. Also what to move to as a readily available stock. Stupid fking company. You think you've got problems, the new whip means I'm down to 17s now
  19. Theres a guide on the forum. You can make it lock the doors once you've started to drive away for example. I may well have a few bits for sale at some point in the not too distant future, shame you're not modding it really... Great choice btw! Let's not be too hasty about anything if you've got things for sale
