  1. Good choice but I'd have to say the Toyota 2000GT
  2. It was only a one hour hike up to MP, off at 4:30am to beat the queue and get tickets for HP (they only let 200 people a day up there as it's a death trap of a journey). Best preparation I found was; on the day prior to your trip, take advantage of the 5 for 1 drinks promos in the nearby Aguas Calientes, get yourself off to bed about 2am and you'll be tip top when you're stumbling through the pitch black night through the jungle. #mostpainfulhangoverever
  3. You can kill two birds with one stone. If you do Machu Picchu, you can get up Huayna Picchu in the afternoon after MP. Absolutely astounding place to visit (both of them). Well worth the climb, sweating and near death experiences on the way up the "path". Huayna is the big mountain on the right, towering over Machu Pichu This is looking down to MP from HP.
  4. It's not easy this not modifying business. There's a guy selling an Ark GRiP exhaust in the other place at minute. I think mine is actually blowing so it's technically a repair. I also finished off my reverse camera enhancement today, tested it and nearly cried. How had I installed it so very, very wrongly??? Turns out the boot was open
  5. Anabolics increase red blood cell production vastly. Raul Moat could have hidden atop Killimanjaro indefinitely. I just stuck with munching coca leaves to relieve the symptoms.
  6. Not done that but when I was in Ecuador I visited Chimborazo (fun fact, it is the part of the earth's surface farthest from its centre, even further from the centre than the top of Everest!) we got a bus to the camp at 4800m/15,748ft and walked up toward the next camp at 5050m/16568ft. Only a small rise in elevation yeah??? This is probably the hardest thing I've ever done, the air never ever is thick enough to breathe. Even sitting down it takes ages to catch it. You walk a short distance, then stop and breathe. Repeat. I'm no fitness pervert but altitude doesn't care. Some people can make red, oxygen carrying blood cells, more quickly than others. It's a body thing, not a "I did 500 reps in the gym thing".. I saw really healthy, quinoa and lentil types having to get on oxygen whilst we sat and had a beer and a fag. The moral or this ramble, don't do this sort of thing lightly and do get some experience at altitude if you can, because it's not to be trifled with and severe altitude sickness can cause real problems quickly, and dump all over your plans. All that said, do it!
  7. My policy of not modifying continues, so I've made a couple of enhancements instead. Got rid of the awful screwed in reg plates, on which the dealer had actually included strap line text that overlapped each other. Unbelievable. Stuck these on with a truck load of double sided and moved the rear one down toward the centre of the plate void. Much cleaner. The eagle eyed will notice a reverse cam has popped up. Not as slick as the light fitting one on the zed but it feel like a nice piece of kit and even came with a combo video/power/reverse signal wire, so I only had to run one - very flash. Not tapped into the reverse light signal yet as some bright spark decided it should go miles away from the camera in the diffuser, so I need to find a good place to intercept it. Also popped in a dashcam Looks massive there but from the driver's seat its more or less hidden, not tried the Mobius before, cracking bit of kit for the price and came with everything you need from here. Helpfully they also installed the latest firmware and configured it as a dash cam (opposed to action) out the box, very good service. Even with the compression when I chopped it up and youtube's compression the image quality is ok. So far these little ICE jobs have been a doddle on the BRZ, despite a bit less info being available than the Zed, there seems to be a lot fewer trim panels.
  8. Just drive it through a river, job done
  9. It's not too bad, the cameras they use nowadays are getting much smaller.
  10. ^^^ this ^^^ I wired in a reverse camera the other day, I even had to dremmel some parts to make it fit. I was so pleased with my 'engineering skills' and then I catch up on one of Andy's afternoons where he's fabricated a spaceship and in his tea break turned base metal into gold. Jealous.
  11. Gutted for you on the noteless impact, not to mention the discourtesy car, hopefully karma will do its thing to the perp. Repair looks good though
  12. Are you looking at my bra?
  13. Probably the first ever EV to tempt the mainstream. PS - You should always drive that with the wings deployed

    Oil cap

Can't you just wait until your husband gets home? To be fair, my OEM one was a pig to shift.
  15. There's no promotion in this utopia, all are equal, just with different buttons. I intend to use my new powers for good, to help make a place where children can play with their hoops, tops and jack in the boxes. Where pensioners can tend their melon patch without fear of Huckleberry Finn style moonlight attacks.
  16. The Shark's away with her new owner. I'm sure he'll reveal himself on here soon enough and I'm certain he'll take good care of her. We had a good talk about "stance", so at least I know she'll be safe from that. Bye Zed, it's been emotional
  17. Just don't tell the wife, the only reason she's letting me stay is because she thinks they're all ugly here... Bwwwaaahhhhaahhhhaaaaahhhhaahaaaaaaa
  18. You found the fit nurse? I always thought it was a myth perpetuated by Sid James!
  19. Never seen a GT4 rear badge. Only the plate.
  20. That really sucks mate, hope they fix you up soon or at least get you some better drugs. Couldn't have picked a better time though, with the NHS in rude health and well funded and over staffed, once we get shot of all those foreign doctors and nurses it'll be even better Chin up. It's not like you've got man flu.
  21. I don't really use many coatings, too much risk for outdoor detailing. I do like this though http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/finishkare-1000p-hi-temp-sealant/prod_589.html
