I'll have a go. There are certain things that the people should get for free as part of living in and paying for a developed country, education & healthcare are the top two. These are the hallmarks of being developed. Whether you earn peanuts or millions, access to these services should be a right. Beyond that, from a purely economic perspective, if you've paid in (which you will have if you're bequeathing in excess of 100k) you've already paid for these things up front in PAYE, NI, VAT, etc all your life. In fact, you'll have paid in the most if you are well off (PAYE) and the likelihood of spending more (VAT), not to mention all the myriad other taxes. It's often mention that there's no money for these things, yet the UK comfortably services debts, credit rating in tact. We comfortably rustle up billions whenever we want for projects that benefit a few (mainly party donor's shareholders). The country doesn't need to make money, it's simply is not a business. To give this some historical context, look at what happened when the country had the windfall of 80s oil money, we were making the golden ticket of a profit (by accident, not by austerity, I might add). Did we save it for a rainy day? No. Thatcher gave the profits away in tax breaks. Other countries, like Norway, took it and invested it to pay for, yep you've guessed it, old age! What a **** idea that was They can't have it both ways, bleating there's no money for care but there is money for tax breaks. It's just a lie.

I think they've both got supplies of both in spades. 20 minutes is a long time, good luck!. Personally, I've worked fine under a number of Managers, but I've worked my nuts off for a few good Leaders. For me, Leaders command respect, not by asking for it, but by earning it. Leaders set the tone, the example to which everyone aspires. I always wanted to impress a Leader; one because praise from people you respect is a buzz, two because you can ride thier coat tails as they progress up the ladder. A Manager may well have the vision but a Leader can get you to give something a go, even if you might otherwise be sceptical.

Anyone else find it coincidental that the Labour manifesto, which was released in conjunction with full costings of their policies, gets a load of press stick for not being costed. Yet the Tory Manifesto has no costings, but doesn't face the same scrutiny? It's like there's two different yardsticks? Yet it gets even weirder still, George Osbourne was going to wipe out the defeccit by now (remember that pledge?), but thanks to the blindingly brilliant austerity, it's actually doubled. Still he's gone now, so it doens't count, got a good job in the press I hear. Hang on... The only thing I can recall that connects the complete failure of the bulk of the press coverage forgetting to cover these trifling elements, is that the Tory manifesto also abandons the second part of Leveson, they don't fancy looking into press/police corruption. Weird eh?

We already have the lowest Corporation tax rates in the G20. If we need to lower them further to attract big business then it shows how much of a shambles Brexit really is. This afternoon I assembled the bulk of my tooling, ready for a major mod. I then proceed to put on my Captain Brave pants. Drilled into the inner skin of the boot lid. Fitted a dirty great rivet. Did some screwing. After a few minutes hard work, the job was complete. Can you tell what it is yet? That's right!!!! It's a boot lid handle, in red! God only knows why there wasn't one from the factory, probably weight saving But as it's aftermarket goodness, it's good for AT LEAST 15bhp, so you know, that covers off the extra weight. Also, it's over the driven wheels, so extra grip and all that. I also found a random boot magnet, silver, on the right. Why would there be a random boot magnet?
