Love the valve amp. Have you lifted another design or just gone for it yourself? How big are the speakers? Can’t tell if they are 3ft or 3 metres!

Glad everything worked out for you mate. -
After some input from you guys on helmets and gloves for track days, perhaps a little motorsport in future too. So far my shopping list includes: - HANS posts - FIA certification - Looks cool Probably a bit over the top for common or garden trackdays but it’s where I keep most of my thinking gear and I’m too beautiful to risk this mush Obviously it’s a go to a shop and try them on sort of purchase. - Can anyone recommend a physical shop in the North (that’s above Derby, not Watford!)? - Full face or chinless? - Any other tips? Regarding gloves, I’m assuming that fireproof, comfy and well fitting are the only important things, but any other suggestions welcome. Budget is in the region of £500. Ta.

Haha. No problem mate. I got the aerial from Fensport, but can’t see it on their site these days. It’s the beatsonic one. To be honest, it’s shocking as an aerial. If you use the radio at all, rethink this mod!!!! Valentis regularly come up on the GT86 forum I frequent - gt86.org.uk However, I ordered mine from https://www.ctautoparts.com.au/ because I only wanted the red ones

I didn’t get involved last season, but will do this year. Happy to set one up if last season’s isn’t being rekindled. -

I haven’t done anything about it. Does it auto renew? -
Been a busy week or so. First job, pick up a rental car to keep me on the road whilst the BRZ is in the garage. What's that? Free upgrade to a C Class? Yes please. I spent a very pleasant week in a 220d auto, which was ideal as I've been prowling for a sensible car for commuting and passengers. Rather enjoyed the wafting and it was pretty quick too, I didn't fall in love with the auto box but we came to an agreement by the end of the week. Perhaps a bit too floaty for me to seriously consider, but I'd be tempted to try a petrol with more cylinders, just to be sure... Anyway, this is why the BRZ was in the shop. AP BBK for the front end. Thanks to Reyland for supplying the kit. All went on smooth as butter. Looks rather fetching too, if I do say so myself. As for the back end, well I didn't want to splash too much at that end because, frankly, they don't do much. So I sent off some OEM rears to be refurbished and painted in a matching red to the front end. Sadly the courier was a day late returning the finished item, which isn't a huge deal, unless you've already handed back your rental car and find yourself carless, miles from home - d'oh! Helpfully, my mate, who is also my mechanic, happened to have his own DC5 around, so I got the loan of that for the weekend. I was so excited to drive this, I've not experienced VTEC (yo!) before and the DC5 is a fairly well regarded vehicle in JDM folklore, to say the least. Wow! So much fun. Ooooodles of grip, that addictive burst at the top end, rare as hen's teeth and all in a very pretty package - if I didn't have a lightweight sports coupe, I'd be VERY tempted. It really puts the smile on your face when it fires up. Anyway, the rear callipers arrived today, looked sweet and went straight on Obviously this is purely to satisfy my need for them to match the fronts, rather than a function improvement. I'm hoping the improved heat dissipation up front will take care of that. What got me looking at brake upgrades was that I found during some driving tuition, and again in the Alps, that I was running out of brakes and, if the BRZ is to end up on track, I want to be prepared. Whilst it was up on the ramp, perfect opportunity to clean up the exhaust too. Came up ok. And the brakes don't look too shabby either. Now I've just got to book some track days...

Climate change , worlds gone mad. I blame the heat.

I thought this was the climate ‘bantz’ thread? If it’s a serious one, for virtue signalling, I recently switched to a renewables only energy supplier and have dropped chicken from a number of my favourite rice based recipes. I only eat beef on special occasions and have stopped doing trumps on Sundays. -
That would make sense, except he was able to hand pick his team as Mayor and still only manage to build an imaginary bridge!

Hahaha, the concept he might get through this month without accidentally sitting on the nuclear button is beyond belief. He can’t open a laptop without the Feds coming round

It winds me up, we could get on top of this tomorrow if governments all over the world made the investment required to stop burning dinosaurs and cut down concrete production and proper clean public transport with energy from renewables and better recycling and ending throwaway fashion and cheap gadgets that hit the bin inside a year, but they think too short term and have too many donors. I have to pay for a carrier bag I need for the shopping to save the whales but some local company can shove endless, unwanted rubbish through my mailbox that uses water and energy to produce and recycle -
You could try @ZMANALEX for used as well as any of the pro traders for a brand spanker.

Sorry mate, but no, fabric is cheating.

The question was straight forward. It’s a challenge to your post, a page previously, about why education on gender is good and bad. However, I’ll be more explicit, so it’s clear. What specifically is the “bad” information that someone being educated about gender issues should not be exposed to? Despite not understanding the question, there are three paragraphs about pride parades, 3 women and sport. Each a gossamer thin attempt to create a diversionary debate about anything but the topic in hand. Not only is it conflating gender education with sexuality, two entirely separate issues, the arguments are also contradictory. You first posit the matter of pride parades as a ‘legitimate’ concern about human procreation (where it’s demonstrable that the Earth’s population is dramatically expanding). Yet the next paragraph is about the need to “advise against” the girl who brings different boys home to have sex with. Which problem is gender education causing, too much procreation or not enough? It can’t be both. Next on this tour of other concerns, we’re on to sporting matters. At hand now is fair competition. Luckily there’s only one thing that makes sport unfair, gender education. When in reality, all manner of exceptional athletes are born genetically different to others. You only need to look for the number of four foot tall basketball players in the NBA, or large footed swimmers, or distance runners of sub Saharan extraction, to see that sport is dominated by people who have talent, but also benefit from advantageous genetic characteristics. These characteristics are legitimate, yet gender genetic traits are illegitimate? Is it fair that I can’t be a world class sprinter because I’m too short and have comparatively fewer fast twitch muscles than other athletes? No. But where’s the moral panic about that? Which groups are up in anger about this genetic difference’s impact on the sporting field of play? All of this mirrors the exact same posts on the flat earth thread. Namely, putting forward an agenda under the banner of “a discussion”. Yet it comes across like there is some other objection to education on gender issues (or human sexuality) that isn’t being spoken out loud, yet, can be furthered via a variety of other periphery issues, of no real consequence, that provide a convenient vehicle to attack the intended target.
