My trim is still OEM, I think it's the picture that makes it look better than real life. My gear surround is scratched to buggery, going to try plastidip as a cheap fix. If that fails, make a new plan. Black satin sounds really good. Thanks for the suggestion!

I just nearly wiped out some kid. Passing a parked bus, so I slowed down just in case. He walked straight out from behind it, never even looked my way! He must have ice in his veins as he still never looked around, even after I skidded to a halt, with his back about 6 inches off my bonnet. Stopped so quick I never even got the clutch in! He just breezed on. Thanks Brembo and Bridgestone. A car coming the other way pulled in and bollocked him! I think I bricked it more than he did! Lucky little bugger. Didn't know whether to file this under brakes or tyres, so went general.

I keep seeing cool roads in Scotland on TV, in the movies. Skyfall has a great shot of what I believe to be the A82 near Glencoe. I haven't had the opportunity to take the Zed for a proper stretch of her legs and I quite fancy heading north for a couple of days to soak it up. Any suggestions for roads or, even better, a route to take in some of the scenery and obviously enjoy the drive around? Ill go as far up as need be, before speaking Icelandic, to find some great stretches.

Not used them yet, but they seem legit (as much as any website!). I wasn't sure about tyre choice, but if I can order 4x Michelin PSS for £700 then it seems like the only choice to me. Althought the price on the Falkens is decent too. I think with the amount of different threads on here I've read, they're both good tyres and neither will cause problems. Although I am a noob!

Doesn't the immobiliser kick in if the car is left unlocked for a while as a little safety feature? I've seen other cars do that. Not sure the non-start is necessarily linked to the other issue with the alarm.
