  1. I remember now why I was in brazil for 3 months... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj-R1CCY3N8&sns=em http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR7Ssophuow&sns=em Second only to Colombia in the world's hottest girls World Cup...
  2. Not a sexy ad as such, but it reminded me of Sloane Petersen fom FBDO, who was super sexy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhkDdayA4iA&sns=em
  3. Nicole? So saucy.... Spot a well young Vincent Cassel at the end!
  4. Any idea what it would cost to ship the bumper Dave?
  5. The re-spray was just the door, but I see where you're coming from. Certainly best place to start. Ta. Edit: spelling was embarrassing.
  6. How do you see what's on the screen? look at it? Yeh but with the brightness off? Look at it? You mean the auto-brightness?
  7. Only just seen this thread, awesome effort and an epic route. You've inspired me for a summer jaunt. Love the vids, **** funny in places. Keep it coming!

  9. My pioneer avh-x2500BT will happily play with my iPhone 5 for music and calls, all except for app radio. They recently brought out a firmware update for it in the US along with the world's most complex cable ( http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/Smartphone-and-iPod-Cables/CD-IV202AV ) which terminates in a lightning connector but also needs some apple cables to plug into it (not free ones!). I have 32 pin with a lightning adapter as this cable didn't exist when I bought the HU, apparently this update means the app radio works with the iPhone 5 now. If you're after the app radio stuff, defo check it's iPhone 5 friendly before splashing the cash.
  10. The angelwax qed is a dirt cheap product too, but it's brilliant, most of the stuff they sell is very reasonably priced. I'm trying a few more of their goodies this week hopefully.
  11. Hiding it seems like a reasonable Plan B. The PBs White Diamond appears to be for light cars. Does this matter? Is the Black Hole the same effect but more appropriate for my GM?
  12. I'm in Blackpool, ordinarily local to no one, but I'm not averse to an excuse to drive the Zed somewhere! Where are you Dave?
  13. I've noticed a couple of new light scratches, one on the bonnet, one on the boot and one on the passenger door (only resprayed 2 months ago ). I'm hoping to do something about them as none of the are deep, two you can't feel under your finger and one you can just about make out. Here they are, I've enhanced the photos a bit to make them look worse but a bit easier to see. Any tips would be appreciated. Bonnet Boot Door I've never done anything like this, so please be explicit in any technique or products you recommend. Naturally I'm a bit nervous about it on the Zed, fortunately my old man's shed has a monster for me to practice on. I don't expect to cure this, just to have a practice on some of the smaller ones. Shed As ever, thanks for any input.
  14. I've got a 2004, 35k. I have a couple of beasts on the bonnet, but not many. The front bumper is shot to @*!#, she'll be up for a respray soon enough.

  16. My battery was being rubbish. I now switch off wifi during the day, as there is none at work, so it stops hunting for it all the time. I also turned off location services for Facebook. My battery is now at about 40% or better after work instead of less than 15%! Hard to understand how these two things churn so much juice, but I can't argue with the difference it makes!
  17. I rate the PA lance (not that I've used others) it feels good quality, decent fittings, bit of a pig to get on the Kärcher mind. Miles ahead of their own offering. Getting through the avalanche, as stated earlier in the thread, it's not the thickest (compared to what I've seen on youtube) but it seems to shift filth pretty darn well. I'll try something new next time cos foaming is about as much fun as you can have with a pressure washer! Thanks for the tip on tardis
  18. Oh yeah, the foamy fun is just the beginning :-) I just this minute finished the two bucket, having a brew, but after the mitt wash there's still some weird splotches here and there, not to mention a serious amount of tar spots all over the roof. I don't think it's ever been cleaned right down. Just wondering what's the best way to get right back to the paint, without lubing up the clay bar. I used some muc-off shampoo that I got recently in a deal, did a pretty decent job. Looks pretty good as is. The old man thought I'd finished! I'm going to have a crack with some Megs paint cleaner next, hopefully that'll do the trick.
  19. Any suggestions for adding something NOT friendly to paint products? I've got to wash my old man's shed as the snowing simply revealed some pretty filthy stuff. I can't really be arsed to go full clay bar on it, so I'm hoping you won't go mental if I suggest adding a bit of Fairy Liquid to the mix to try and shift some of the deeper down filth? Anything else I should consider?
  20. Don't know much about polish but I'd suggest Angelwax Quick Exterior Detailer for your kit. Since I got some in a Wxybox I've found it superb for just after a quick mid-week wash. Goes on quick and easy, looks good, reasonably priced.
  21. Terminator 2, Godfather 2, Empire Strikes Back are all superior sequels. Please no one say Aliens. The only better remakes I can think of are Heat, Desperado and The Magnificent Seven.
  22. Incredible job. I'd never dream of taking something like this on. Skills. What do you wash it with after? Also what's a reasonable expected life span?
  23. Das Boot, awesome shout, favourite foreign language possibly (Irreversible?). Boot should be watched in the 7 hour version, with a full beard, wearing a submariners jumper, soaking wet, in the dark.
