Booked into Grinspeed to have the clutch line, slave and fluid (thanks Zmanalex) replaced after a floppy pedal incident recently. I'd previously not found a Zed specialist round these parts, but Andy recommended Grinspeed as Jap experts, so I booked in and headed off to Leyland. Whilst she was in it seemed a good opportunity to have a service, aux belts and change gearbox and diff fluids (all from Zmanalex, thanks again!) as I didn't know when these were last done.
Thanks to the traffic didn't get cracking until 9, but it was all ready a few hours later, despite the best efforts of the air in the clutch line. On previous cars I've dropped her off and comeback later, but this time I got the chance to see it all being done, which was interesting for a learner like me. Very impressive work from Stevie and Grandad, two pros working away under the bonnet felt like I had a pit crew turning her round for me I also got to hear some good stuff from their rallying days and learn a few things. If you're in the Fylde or the North West and need a garage for your pride and joy, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these fellas. Car felt ace on the way back home, well pleased with the clutch now and the new feel to the gearbox. I'll be back there soon enough for some drop links.
