  1. Nice job and very useful info & snaps. Mine really need this, so thanks very much for a handy guide.

    The Highlands

Nice snaps, nice route. Did similar myself, must be one of the best places to go road driving anywhere.

    New wheels! :)

Cool wheels, love the Michelins too, feel so smooth,
  4. Just ask them how many other Zed drivers have they met? Or, if its a business meeting, say "you look exactly how I expected you to look". They may think that's a compliment though depending on their level of narcissism.
  5. MX5? You might take some stick, bet they're a laugh though. Could always pop a turbo in...
  6. My mates have been really positive, except when I can't give them a lift! I don't get people giving you @*!#, more than some light hairdressing banter. If I don't like a mate's car I'll say nothing, or if asked, state the bits of it I do like (there's always something). Also random people have given me compliments on it, asked about the engine and stuff. Not had a single mean word said. It does attract nobheads on the road though, as mentioned in other posts, but after nearly 6 months I just laugh now and let them go! Some clown eeeked passed me on the motorway the other day, pulled in and slowed down (I had cruise on so I know I stayed the same speed). I pulled out and went round, still the same speed, pulled in, next I know there's this piece of @*!# flying past at about a ton glaring over at me. pi**ed myself laughing, just a shame there no cops on hand.
  7. There's two at my work, nicely appointed inside and pokey when I had a short spin around. I like the app to switch the heater on before you get in too. If I had a second car, I'd go leaf. Sort of carbon offset against the Shark and no benefit in kind tax if you run it through the company. Jurassic Park!
  8. PS - It may be worth keeping a record of outages to show, should this turn into a dispute.
  9. I think you might have a case if the connection is constantly being dropped, you've not go much hope on purely slow speed argument. Regular drops in service is much more like BT breaking the contract for services. If you point this out and offer to settle for a reasonable amount they may go for it.
  10. If that's a uk front number plate holder, I've got one you can have mate.
  11. In between insurance on something you have on finance, you've got to be insane. You'd at least have it clamped or something wouldn't you? Not that it makes stealing it right, or not being able to evict them right either.
  12. That's not a real thing people actually buy, is it?
  13. Whoop whoop, another double box error. One with banana juice substitute, one without. Everyone get the rubbish wedge of cheese yeah? I've been chewing it for ages now and I still can't swallow it. I'm beginning to wonder if it's even cheese at all. Or edible.
  14. It'd be nice to do away with limits and have a more general offence, such as "Driving like a bellend". Sadly you couldn't trust the Feds to enforce it even handily (look at stop and search application against different demographics) or trust inexperienced drivers to obey it. I think, sadly, they need the black and white rules to legislate for the wide variety of road users. Having said that, our roads are the safest (statistically, not anecdotally) so they must be doing something correctly.
  15. MPSS totally transformed the feel of zed from the mixed Bridgestones which were on when I bought it. If you can, you won't be disappointed.
  16. Don't stress about the good price you paid! That's something to be happy about not sad. Would you feel any better if your paid £1000-£2000 more for the same car? I paid (what I've now learned from here) was over the top, for a low miler to make me feel less paranoid, but I still brick it if I hear a knock or rattle! The way I see it (for what it is worth), by paying less you've got better capacity to absorb anything that quite likely may not occur in future. Stick the money you saved in the rainy day bag under the floorboards and if it builds up, you've got a modding budget with some contingency on the side. Look at the Zeds on here, there's some beauties with way more miles on the clock and tons of happy owners (who also have miles on the clock). Chin up mate, you own one of the coolest and rarest cars around. I'm a firm believer that karma comes round to the kind of ******* who key cars.
  17. Gutted mate. If I was to sell mine the only other impractical, gas guzzler I'd want is one of these. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201307217928765/sort/default/usedcars/model/mustang/make/ford/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/2/radius/1500/quicksearch/true/postcode/fy14qs?logcode=p Rubbish colour but you can soon change that!
  18. perhaps the Zed should be green too, not seen any of those round here.... Good luck in the hunt.
  19. More driver focused? When I get in I feel her give me big hug and start purring. Presumably she had some suggestions for the upgrade?
  20. Wow, that's impressive. My iMac gets that hot as soon as I run football manager for 30 minutes and it's basically a giant heatsink!
  21. Another satisfied customer from Alex here, same problem, kit solved it. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/54896-clutch-slave-cyls-braided-line-and-fluid-kit/
  22. Just out of interest, what sort of tempretures do the internal sensors return under "spirited driving" conditions?
  23. I'm not a pro but some sort of polarised filter might help. You'll still get some glare but it might help. http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/polarizing-filters.htm
