  1. +1 admiral, they gave me decent deal with no NCB and my mods haven't been hugely unreasonably priced (eg upto 20% increase in bhp, £100)
  2. Nice knob. Did she handle it for you to make up for the wheels?
  3. Cool vid. I'd so love to give this a try but I know what I'm like for getting carried away. It looked much more controlled than I'd imagined though, nice skills.
  4. I find that if mine drop off from 35 (to say 31) the car feels quite different. For whatever reason mine don't seem to hold 35 for very long (any ideas anyone?). I've recently gone up to 36 (assuming I can trust the digital readout on the machine) and it feels good. Sometimes when I accelerate on say a roundabout when they're low, my ass feels the car just shift a little over - not slide, just shift a bit. I put it down to pressures and maybe the Michelin's have softer tyre walls than the Bridgestones I had before. Happy to be corrected though.
  5. Is that the shadow of Bigfoot in the picture?
  6. Is it ok to PM when the new Mac Pro lands please? I don't think 10-15% off the new Mac Pro rrp is going to make much of a difference, cannot see it costing less than £3000 when it finally arrives...even than I'm going to find it very hard to resist. May even work out cheaper to buy it over in the states when on holiday and carrying back in the hand luggage...it does look like a dust bin after all I like your thinking, spend £2k on on a holiday to California to save £500 on a MacPro. Any excuse for going back to Cali, Cali, Cali. I think it's going to be a legitimate business expense.
  7. I'm in, looking for another double boxer, come on!
  8. As long as I see a black hole I'll be happy Looks like some decent bars in Geneva, shame the hotel I'm eyeing is in the red light district...
  9. Door card off in the first part of this: http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/front_speakers/ Window reset: http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=55900.
  10. Wow, there's some serious cars here, but check this lot out. Renault Clio 1.2 - my first car, every journey was exciting Fiat Panda (4x4!) Land Rover Defender 90 Camaro Best of all, my beloved Zed. I drove a John Deere tractor once, awesome, but I was about 10 and sat on my Uncle's knees.
  11. I've heard/read reasonable reports of here http://www.middlehurst-nissan.co.uk/our-services/nissan-high-performance-centre/ not used it myself though, but I'd recheck what the Zman says before getting out your BF's wallet. Good luck.
  12. Well they came out of my GT zed, so they better be "Bose". They don't have any identifying markings of any sort. Presumably yours look like the ones pictured above?
  13. Has anyone seen how hard it is to get the experiment tickets? They were available for all of 4 minutes today. I'd suggest getting your refresh button ready if you are trying. I'm going to see an LHCb Experiment (Point 8), super excited.... Anyone know what that is?
  14. Well I'm sold. 1: Missniki - DE 2: SuperStu - DE 3: 4: 5:
  15. I'm extremely tempted. Are they going to be a challenge at MOT time?
  16. . Did you have to use the word fictitious? Seems disrespectful to me. Thanks for picking that up, reading it back now I can see how it might be taken that way by some readers. Apologies to those who were offended, it was not my intention, it merely reflects my view on matters theological. I suspect the potential group of offendees is relatviely small given even the most zealous believers I've met, to date, don't consider the story of Adam & Eve to be a literal transcription of the events which took place to form our, or indeed any, universe. However, small as that group may be, I'm sorry and I shall endeavour not to offend you in future. Personally, as an atheist I wouldn't be offended if someone suggested Adam wasn't fictitious as in the earlier thread, despite it conflicting with my own viewpoint. I'd simply disagree, but not everyone reacts in this tolerant way.
  17. This all got a little out of hand when I mentioned it at work. The upshot is a few will be going, but flying out, not road tripping. Boring I know, sorry to bail but I'd want a week off to drive there and take in the surrounding mountain roads/alps. A week off isn't happening that particular week. PS - you can rent a 911 at Geneva Airport...
  18. Could be. Seems a bit of a risky strategy naming it after a fictitious character from a specific religion perhaps? An earlier post suggests it was taken from a top suit at Vauxhall, but that seems extremely egomaniacal!
  19. In terms of retaining your controls, have a look below. I got a pro to do my Pioneer, but there's some gifted AV people on here who will no doubt be along shortly with the knowledge. Good luck. http://incartec.co.uk/Manufacturer/Model/Brand/Device/Radio/Browser.aspx
  20. What you talking about bro? D stations has been in since go-live, he's all over these type threads Why did you put a laugh after what you said. Wasn't really funny was it. Apologies, I couldn't find one for "smiled on the inside". Maybe it's near the question marks.
  21. I like the Jaaag and the Porsche. It shows off some other motors I don't regularly see and makes this place look inclusive. Perhaps some sort of big sticker though, so they're easy to spot?
