  1. There's a Northern Zed Shed? Where is this place? Should it not be powered by Eccles cakes and pints of mild, instead fancy dan southern donuts
  2. Just a couple of little jobs today. The Z from my strut brace was damaged during the paint job, so I had to rattle can up and give her a coat - RED! You know things are getting seriously Zeditis, when you mod an existing mod. Gonna trial a new knob for a while, see if it's as satisfying in the palm as my previous one. Red gaiter was looking tired, gone back to black this time. In other news, sailed through MOT with no adv. and added some Ferodo DS2500s which are feeling very nice so far. Pesky EML back on, trying some spacers for the o2 sensors in a bid to cure.
  3. I highly recommend the BERK HFCs as they are also a superb fit for the zed compared to some other HFCs. Had mine installed at Abbey and they did the EML light fix for it as well. Be aware though when you first fit them they take a couple of weeks to 'bed in' as under hard acceleration you may hear some change (like a weird tapping noise) but this completely disappeared after awhile. Thanks for the info Exotic ~ I'm thinking of this for next year & although Abbey is 2-3hrs from me that's where I was thinking of going. I know it made a difference in my Zed from the way revs drop off. Others will tell you it's snake oil. For £30 (you can make em for less if you can be bothered) I don't see how you can lose. Worse case scenario is a bit of extra colour in the bay http://h-dev.co.uk/p...oducts_id=25417 Thanks again SuperStu ~ For £30 I think I'll just go for it. Will be after Christmas now but definitely on the Zeds shopping list. A textbook stocking filler.
  4. Second tyre dibs duly noted - Blackpool or motorway service station in surrounding area for collection.

  7. Nice work on your Zed, the lip and bumper are very nice indeed.
  8. Pulleys provisionally sold. UNSOLD and now available.
  9. I got some of these. Seem fine. Currently respraying them. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131031560200
  10. Zmanalex recommended this to me when I replaced the same part. http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/310419032723?_lwgsi=y&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=64
  11. If it's the W brace (you'll know it when you see it) it's got other mounting bits hidden by plastic at each end which may have corroded too. Worth checking before you order anything, mine were shot but I just admit I gave one idea what it brings to the Zed party.
  12. At the risk of getting flamed, I found the h-dev grounding kit helped with smooth running, especially coming off the gas. Also mine was feeling a bit rougher than usual (not bad, just not super smooth) turned out the earth on my scorpion had worked loose. Reconnected today, smoothness back at super on the drive home.
  13. 18 in town, 28 motorway, 43 for a mile or two in average camera 40 zone on M6.
  14. The uprev was done before I bought it, no idea what the gains were, sorry mate - but plenty threads here will tell you typical gains if you do your breather mods first. The numbers are one thing, but it believe quite a few get more reward from the improved driveability than the numbers. I should really get down to TDI for a dyno one day.
  15. That's good to know. I'm hoping to get Berk HFC's at some point for my 350 & would hate for it to cause problems come MOT time. It was the same with a JDM WRX that I used to own which had a high flow sports Cat ~ always sailed through emissions when warmed up properly. My Berks/Scorpion posed no problem today, just drove over, no kore spiritedly than usual. Sailed through
  16. Some goodies from the shed for sale. Got a new idea for a special mod and trying to raise some funds... Pulleys now sold again OEM pipes from when my SAMCOs went in - £10 OEM intake pipe from when my SAMCO went in - £10 Everything is priced pre-postage costs, happy for collection (Blackpool) or shipping of your choice (at your cost). Feel free to ask anything you need to, or if you want more photos of something.
  17. It's the speed between lightspeed and warpspeed
  18. Sailed through MOT with no advisories, woooohoooo!!!!! Also had Ferodo DS2500s all round courtesy of ClarkZmanMotorAlexSport (a fine recommendation - thanks), fitted by the top techs at Grinspeed. Whilst she was in they also cured the irritating exhaust rattle that had developed of late, she sounds even sweeter than usual now, especially on the long motorway runs which were driving me nuts. As usual top service to be had a Grinspeed for sensible money, and got to see a vintage Integra Type R, which was a treat. Only complaint is my eyeballs nearly popped out during the pad bedding in procedure I just hope there's a few mm left on the MPSSs Bumped into another Zed too, in the second fastest colour.
  19. SSD for the win. Even if it's only a small boot one and you put a cheap 7200rpm in for bulk storage.
  20. +1 of cam if you have a headunit to watch it through, cost me about £30 all in and an hour or two (I'm not spanner gifted). Works a treat though and MOT friendly http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Rear-View-Reverse-Camera-for-Nissan-350Z-Fairlady-/260792854518?ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:GB:3160
  21. Nice one, I'm in tomorrow, fingers crossed she's all good.
  22. Rabbit!? You haven't missed this one yet! It's not till next month. Rabbit! Why are we all saying rabbit?
