  1. Love a bit of detail action, nice skills.
  2. You'll have to check the EULA, it may not be transferable. If it's come from a decent size company won't MS products in particular have been covered by a Volume License? I'd assume these are invalid for individual machines once they come out of the company. I bet you could extract the licence key with some freeware off the web and then reinstall post wipe. However, they may be encrypted in the registry. I'm sure I found an old windows product key from a Win XP install, but technology has moved on.
  3. Glad it's not just me who got it from the garage with fumes in the tank, was lucky it was only 5 mins to a Tesco. Just this morning ,my lights lit up like Homer Simpson's workstation, then by the time I cruised to work the crisis had been avoided.
  4. Very nice write up and even handed. Plenty of love on there in the comments as well as the dross. I love how many people view it as a GT car or a muscle car. The way I see it, I'm either James Bond (GT) or Steve McQueen (Muscle) when I'm commuting That's Connery or Dalton, not Moore, Craig or Lazenby BTW.
  5. If you could get someone in the boot, they'd have to be dismembered, so the boot release would be of little use! Edit: Could be a midget I suppose. Nik Nak might fit.
  6. when we think we need another team member then we will have a look around to see who we think would be good and fit the bill. Salary is nothing as with all team members, Sometimes a lot of work and with little recognition. Its all on a voluntary basis and for the enjoyment of being part of the best 350z & 370z forum. Well FWIW I think the team does a very fine job indeed. This is one of the best places on the web to spend your time, which speaks volumes for the work you all do, as does the number of members who are still around after de-zedding.
  7. Just out of interest. How do you get to be a mod? Is there a test? What's the starting salary?
  8. Got my SAMCO hoses (not the air intake mind) from Cougar Store, top service. I think there's a lead time for fancy colours but always worth a PM!
  9. I tried the mega kit with minimal improvement, was a bit tentative TBH, it felt scary.
  10. When my techs bled my clutch after a slave cylinder change, initially they couldn't get the clutch pedal back. I'm not sure what the "normal" process is for most cars, but once I found this from the workshop manual and showed them, they changed technique slightly and my pedal came back shortly after. Sorry to be a bit vague, but this content did make a difference. I seem to remember when I bought it from Zmanaalex he said there was a "knack to it".
  11. along, loads of stuff on here about making them faster and louder. Enjoy!
  12. I don't like to go too high on the prices, it's taking advantage of addicts. I know, I'm one of them
  13. I'm sure there's somewhere in the UK you can get them but I went for these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121127941745?item=121127941745&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OU:GB:3160&vxp=mtr
  14. Funds landed - thanks for quick work. Mods please lock down.
  15. Just a little job today. Got bored of my black burgers and replaced them. Few minutes with a hairdryer left me with this lot - PITA But 15 mins elbow grease later. Front was less messy, but I had to mod the little nipples with ryobi. Finished job. Very pleased I made the switch, works better than the black badges I think. I've got some centre caps I've painted as the ones from my refurb don't quite match the wheel. Is there an ingenious way to get them out which doesn't involve either damage to cap/wheel/both, or removing the whole wheel and punching them out from behind?
  16. Due to a change of badges, I now have two black Z burger badges for sale. Only been on the car 10 months, had a coat of lacquer before they were fitted to reduce UV fade. £15 for the pair, including UK postage - front and rear - if there's a difference? Not damaged during removal - despite my usual approach
  17. Summary dismissal, for what isn't a hugely offensive comment, seems over the top to me, HOWEVER it's important to check their behaviour guidelines. If it clearly states this is the standard punishment for all breaches of electronic media policy, it's going to be tough to fight. She also needs to ensure they've stuck rigidly to disciplinary process. So many places don't when some banana goes on a power trip. Simple things, like not having been offered a representative during any disciplinary meetings, would be enough to get the case reviewed if she wants to fight it.
  18. An amusing quote I heard on the news was of an eyewitness to this, saying, "What they need like, is proper organised queues n that for these big sales and security like". Er no. What we need is for everyone to behave like decent human beings, all the time. This is not disaster victims fighting each other for a bag of grain, it's money off a @*!# brand flat screen. "That telly the bloke's got over there has £50 off, quick, bash his crust in. Check his wallet whilst he's out cod too."
  19. I heard about an escort service Amsterdam called Black Friday...
  20. Welcome and awesome commitment to find "the one" but
