  1. I'm with Stu, stock seems more even, tyres I'm not fussed with, would like the power to go up for the next one though! Are you suggesting the 350 is crap? OK then, i'll sort out an American Muscle stock challenge. Any preferences on which car to choose? They all handle like @*!# sooo… How about something from the 60's or 70's. Sounds fun, just had a quick browse of the North America dealers, there's all kinds of fun! GT40 Charger 440 Cobra 427 Cobra GT350 HPA TT Delta Wing 2013?
  2. Nice link, they did a nice job reviewing too. It's weird watching with Australian dubbing, nothing "accidentally" catches fire at any point.
  3. Given the size of those is it not better getting an quote from a pro? You can get paint matched touch up pens from steelers (it's the only sensibly priced thing they sell) but it'd be tough job. Good luck. Worth a watch first possibly. http://www.ammonyc.com/detailing/paint-chip-touch-up/
  4. Looking at the times on page 1, if these are up-to-date, it seems much closer for the stock challenge than PP challenge. It'd be nice to have some decent rubber though especially if you go for something muscley and RWD.
  5. Nice test and write up, also thanks for sharing. I'll be battling on with snow foam, given there's not much evidence here to suggest it's the wrong choice, and it's way more fun!
  6. Hmmm, I think I got that product, but not in the large trigger bottle pictured.
  7. Meg's endurance is my current fav, get a spongey applicator too, just for tyres though.
  8. Not strictly a Zed shot but she made a friend in the far reaches of Sainbury's car park. GTRs are a bit spesh in flesh.
  9. Good to see when I'm away from the PS3 for a few days that some good times are still being posted.
  10. With Italy creeping into this, is Modena going to feature? http://museo.ferrari.com/factory-and-fiorano-track-tour/ http://www.lamborghini.com/en/museum/overview/ I'm sure someone said Pagani isn't far away either...
  11. Muscle sounds good, must include Laguna Seca!
  12. The times on challenge 2 are very nicely bunched, just shows a stock car with no tweaks can be a leveller +1 on the shout for better tyres allowed on the next stock model challenge.
  13. All that really matters is that it's been looked after. http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=3856
  14. I prefer the humpy bonnet, LED rears, bi-xenons and the facelift interior, but I don't regret buying a 2004 for a second. You can always add the bits you like afterwards anyway. I bought the first one I drove (I know it's a bad approach, but I fell in love), try and get a test in as many as you can and see how you feel inside and when you put your foot down. The extra tax works out about £20 a month, in the grand scheme of Zed, that's not that much. Edit: Sorry! I read the title but missed the budget.
  15. That's a tough one. It's a brave man who dives in with advice, especially if passions are high or the wound is still raw. Perhaps, if she were to mention it again to you, you could ask if she might have done something differently in hindsight? It'll have to be carefully judged tone and moment but defo phrase it like a question rather than a statement. Good luck and tread very carefully, she'll be looking for support from you now, not anything that could be taken as accusatory. Whatever happens, if it turns sour, don't argue.
  16. Did they manufacture any in the UK? I assume from the idiotic salesman response to the OP's very reasonable question, he's suggesting none were built here.
  17. Tonight's update Suzuka - 2:22.502 Took me AGES to figure out sector 1, that and the last chicane hold all the seconds.
  18. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
  19. Welcome along. This feels like it might be the beginning of something... expensive.
  20. It's a really tricky circuit. I hate it right now, well it's that or the Zed! I know there's time in sector 1, I just can't find it. All I have is tyre squeal and 1.5 tonnes of iron sliding all over the place
  21. I believe these little guys do the trick. Mine is sat on my desk though, waiting to go in. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T20-White-6-LED-Projector-Lens-Driving-Lamp-Turning-Braking-Bulb-30W-for-Auto-/181295328213?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a360b2bd5
  22. UPDATE Suzuka - 2:23.421 Tsukuba - 1:02.779 Tokyo - 1:58.441 Not sure she's got any more to give me the oil change didn't hurt though
  23. Did change after driving many laps, 326! Bought a new one, did oil change, 326!
