I've got a cosworth panel filter, more worried about filtration than gains TBH, it's dry so it doesn't risk any oil sneaking out. So far it seems to work fine but I can't say if it makes any bhp.

Been on family detail in the Lakes this weekend, couldn't resist an opportunity to revisit some of the places of my youth and snap The Shark. The scenery isn't too shabby if you liven it up with a clean(isn) Zed and a V6 roar. I remember when I just assumed everywhere looked like this! It'd be beautiful up there if it ever stopped raining, but I guess it's raining pretty much everywhere at the minute

Mine came off with some light hair dryer action and bit of dental floss. Left a bit of sticky behind but that came off with some elbow and APC. Looks bling the new badge BTW!

That thing is astonishing. It's so good to have the McLaren guy there telling you all about the engineering too, not just the usual Clarkson gibberish about speed, but also how they think through making something like that. I could watch detailed technical videos of the design and fabrication process for hours. Favourite bit is where he asks if he is aloud to spank it on the track and he just matter of factly says, yeah, do what you like, that's what we built it for.

Get a scooby, cheap as, fast, 4WD and if you fear deep water, fit a snorkel and possibly a periscope. I've have a mate who's into that point to point, 4x4 off road, winching stuff. He has a Pajero and treats it like the prevebial, but it just keeps on trucking, I bet it's not so quick mind.

Much more convenient than a rechargeable, cloth bag of silica gel :lol:

I know the ones you mean but aren't they a bit small (sauce sachet sized)? I've got one under my seat in the 350 (away from dangling cables) but I think it's 500g or a kilo. Works like a charm if you remember to 'recharge' it every now and again.

Personal taste, but generally something of as soft and dense foam as possible for me. I really like the puck style as they're nice and easy to keep hold of. It's what feels good to you, fortunately they're not super expensive so you can try a few. In the more traditional disc shape I liked the really dense foam ones that came in waxybox, not been impressed by the yellow ones you sometimes get free with stuff, always feels a bit rough to my delicate skin

I really like that interior, perhaps the rim of the steering wheel in black leather might just break it up a little - but that's being fussy. I've broswed a few porkers on autotrader and loads have a really nasty grey leather, which you'd think sounds classy but just looks rubs IMHI. Cinnamon FTW!

It's our 1 year anniversary on Tuesday so I thought I best make an effort. The Shark is booked in for a surprise trip to the bodyshop for spats and a spoiler next week, which finishes my exterior plans nicely around the year mark. Next on the list is the bay, weapon-r are going to be blinging that up in the near future (courtesy of Tarmac). Just so she had something for the day, I popped in a Nismo oil filler cap, having marked the plastic OEM one during a disagreement topping up the oil a few weeks back. One year in, I'm still just as excited to drive the Zed, even if it's just to work. I must admit to having a wandering eye in the last few months, with the 370 and a Cayman S both catching my eye. If I had one little tiny nag, it's the absence of rear seats. It's rarely an issue, but there's been a couple of times I've thought it'd be useful to have two more little seats back there, even if they weren't practically sized, they'd be handy for short trips. This has lead me to start cruising autotrader for V8 Mustangs of late... Once I tart up the bay, I think there's an exhaust waiting to go on somewhere and possibly an ARB kit. My dream is to do something with the interior plastics, particularly the centre console, but not found anything that catches my eye yet. Once they're done I'll finally be cured of Zeditis... ... except maybe a bulge bonnet, then a wrap in something outrageous, maybe wheels once day.
