  1. If you don't trust them not to steal your premium oil, can you really trust them?
  2. A maintenance two bucket wash with a shampoo that's not aggressive, then a spritz with NXT spray wax should be fine. Not sure if you might want to add a quick detailer on top or not? The Others will be here soon...
  3. Just did this, 5 minutes effort, though that included a minute of brown trousers when it wasn't playing. Couple of notes that would've helped me and may be of use to readers. Do it in front of a surface you can see reflection of the indicators' flash, as the dash indicators didn't light up. The initial 6 turns from LOCK to ON had to be done quickly, first attempt (although within 10 seconds) it didn't play, second attempt I really sped it up and it went into registration mode fine. When doing the 6 turns, make sure you push right through to ON and not one click too short. I couldn't just register my one problem key, I had to do both. This manifest itself in the "problem" key starting to work fine but then the "working" key stopping working. So once you get into registration mode, make sure you register both/all keys, even if one of them was already working fine. After the first key was successfully registered (upon release of UNLOCK) I did not notice an indicator flash, as suggested in the process. I carried on regardless, took the first key out and inserted the second key for registration. Don't forget to turn the key to ON after you have registered the last key, to go out of registration mode I simply cannot believe Nissan have the audacity to demand something like £45 for this process which took a monkey (me) 3 attempts and 5 minutes to action correctly. Usual disclaimers apply, for info only, if you brick your Zed or your key or both, it's not my fault.
  4. Result. I hate it when they do that. Grrrrrr. Result getting it sorted though.
  5. I've declared loads of stuff with elephant including cats/exhaust, they just wanted a small fee, so even if this jerk off has tried to shop you, I don't know why they just wouldn't take a few quid off you. Cancelling seems weird. Edit: checked policy, that last sentence was rubbs, deleted.
  6. That's so unfair. I so want a bulge bonnet!!!! Get us some snaps up when it's back.
  7. As long as bebop and rocksteady are there, it's got a chance. If only it wasn't Bay...
  8. Look sweet, I hunted round for Nismo alternatives, didn't achieve your level of thinking. Great choice.
  9. along. I know this post is old, but there's some detail in there worth reading IMHO http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/1604-modification-guide-one-stop-thread/
  10. What a massively c****sh thing to do. What the hell is wrong with people? Someone cracked the windscreen in my Clio in some drunken high jinks, many moons ago, and the well known windscreens chap advised me it was definitely a big stone impact and not vandalism, don't know why, but he was insistent on this point. Wonder if it makes a difference to an insurer?
  11. Order white. Get a cold. Sneeze. Done Gee thanks I'm sorry, couldn't resist, I love the GREEN really!
  12. Get a Volvo before their cool, that's the coolest thing you can do now, then sell it when they go mainstream. I think they make some decent looking machines these days and some of them seem to go like stink from the quoted figures.
  13. Anyone been in or seen the back seats in Challenger? Big enough for a small adult male? Does it have rear windows?
  14. I love the Delorean, you just don't see many in real life, special treat. Thanks for sharing. As for the Mustang, I've managed to find a convertible Camaro today, so I think I'm pretty well set on having another one of those, plus on a purely practical point I believe the boot is a bit bigger than the Mustang. Just need to talk my mates out of a Dodge Ram or a Cadillac Escalade
  15. Word of mouth is your best guarantee, I've been really lucky and found someone excellent first time off, due to a sparkling recommendation and I'm never more than 6 feet from the car whatever job they're up to. I know not everyone can take time off work to watch a tech in action, but it's been a great learning experience for me and I know she gets treated right. Where are you based? There's bound to be someone localish who can point you in the right direction.
  16. I'm having some trouble with my key and attempting a re-program Saturday, I can't give you any definitive answers but in the thread I started there's links to 4 separate threads on this topic. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/83154-remote-out-of-sync/

  19. Nout wrong with a Wrangler Although, pack light and get a Vette It's not that there's anything wrong with one, it did make my list after all, it's just I really want muscle! I'd love a Vette but no amount of light packing is going to get rid of the second passenger I know all the mustang's and camero's are cool . . . but . . http://www.cadillac.com/cts-v-sport-coupe.html A 6.2L Supercharged V8 . . Hubba hubba, I could live with that, just need to find one in Miami or Orlando. Failing that I'm going pure Clark Griswold.

  21. Ooooh, US trips are fun, cool pics too I've got Florida later this year. Gutted to read your Mustang comment, I'm scouring the major rental companies for a convertible and I cannot find a ragtop Camaro I had in Cali last time, a Mustang was next on my list, followed by a Jeep Wrangler . The search continues...
