  1. Most of the US car stores I've been to over there are a bit poor... but I'm sure there's one or two tuning places about, any on google? Had a quick look. Nothing there really got me close enough to marking them on my route.
  2. 33 next week, jeeeze that sounds old. The Zed's my first car purchase though, does that count for extra inches?
  3. Reckon there'll be some decent jap car stores I could maybe pick up a couple of mods from?
  4. Very sneaky tip that. I need a minimum of three seats, so I guess I'd get the Mercedes E350 convertible
  5. Yeah, they had a 911 too, but the quote was $15k for three weeks! I really fancied a Challenger this time but the rear seating wasn't going to be much fun for anyone, so fully Camaro'd up.
  6. Whoop whoop, flights booked to sunny Florida and gone and more importantly got the car reserved
  7. I hear on this, you should've seen the monkey's breakfast I made of replacing my brake lights with LED clusters after one of the bolts got stuck, then the upside down boot strut bits, but as above once I got them done I was well pleased. Fitting the reverse camera successfully (in the end!) is my greatest DIY achievement to date!
  8. Looks beautiful, nice job! How come we never see one of these walkthroughs for the Brazilian Waxing you mention in your signature?
  9. Interesting, I'm the other way around, I'd like to see Johnny I've do a Porsche.
  10. A chap at my work is a former TVR designer, the amount of things I've learnt just chatting to him is immense, extremely knowledgable and very friendly too. When I eventually get a garage sorted (ideally with some sort of house attached) I'm hopeful he's going to help out with a track toy project.
  11. Looks well BBK You're not wrong Dave, I had to do an emergency wash today as there was soooo much muck on her - not pleased
  12. Spotted you in St Anne's just after 5 in a rather aggressive looking ginger, looked well Everyone's got BGW these days Anyone on here? Didn't wave as I was passenger in a Scooby STI - pulled like an absolute train. Bit too much drama for an old man like me though, got to keep it smooth, bet it would be fun on a track.
  13. Drugs, People, Cars, Gold, Money, Smokes....That's my guess Has anyone ever tried to 'hi-jack' one or these things? We could make a fortune... You from Somalia or something? I have seen containerships enter port with barbed wire still on the railings to prevent from being boarded. Also some shipping companies hire security teams which are armed. Plus the minor fact that the side of the ship is rather high and to get up there while at sea isn't the easiest thing to do. I laugh in the face of high sides and barbed wire! I'm tunnelling in.

  15. My bad, missed the other thread. X
  16. It's far from the most expensive offering, starting at £299 unlocked I believe. Compared to a 16GB unlocked iPhone 5S at £549, which is likely to be replaced by an iPhone 6 offering in the next few months - so hardly a selling point. OP's stated he's upgrading, hasn't mentioned any budget restriction, has mentioned he doesn't want Samsung or Blackberry, had a poor previous experience with HTC and fancies a change from Sony. That leaves many options, including Apple, Nokia and the aforementioned Nexus 5 (which I believe is the only Google handset they offer currently?). So the N5 meets all those criteria posted as far as I can see, and is widely regarded to be a decent handset. Perhaps a cracked HTC Desire is what he's after, but I can't see how it more closely meets requirements from the first post than a Nexus 5 does...
  17. If I wasn't team Jobs, I'd go Nexus 5. The new HTC one looks quite saucy but I don't know if it has proper android or some deviant HTC version.
  18. It's a cheese (or piece of pie for some) from Trivial Pursuit "Z Edition".
  19. My pioneer rear USB has a little cable which has been routed into the cubby. It originally had a female USB termination (so effectively just moved the USB port from the rear into the cubby) now it has an apple connector.
  20. I'm sure the apple proprietary cable alone will be £40
