Sticky nipple Stu ? I think it just got gummed up, some sort of fluid discharge or build up once I gave it a clean it was back in working order!
-
Lost was decent the first season or so IMO, but like all successful US shows they keep flogging for three seasons too many to squeeze every drop of cash out. The Fawlty Towers rule should be enforced more, keep it pure, don't dilute it out.

Thanks! I think they're the logical conclusion, perhaps a powder coat would do the job nicely. Maybe paint the dipstick too. The weapon r tanks are really nice bits of kit, if you can get some, I say do it!

Nice detail, paint looks great.

Before you get the sockets out, take 2 mins to just tweak the door close nipple in the shut a few times and see if the window leaps up and down. Mine misbehaved for a while and caused the window to misbehave.

In other Zeditis news I went to see my man about finalising up my project. Got a date booked in for June now, so just need to do some more legwork and then that should happen in due course. This will represent the end of my build project and me being cured of Zeditis.

Been a busy little Zed day today, firstly had a service at Grinspeed - top quality job as usual, can't rate them highly enough and I continue to learn and enjoy being able to hang around whilst the work is being done. In addition to the service, had some goodies from Tarmac (excellent service as usual ) put in too. Some shiny weapon-r tanks to help my bay project along a bit. it's coming along nicely now I think, I might change out the samco intake for something more shiny though... Last, but certainly not least, I popped in my new 14N boot divider, really pleased with this - thanks Ian

Ahhhhh thats interesting, thats one of the models i was looking at!! how much did you pay for it? and hows the performance compared with the oem system? can you post a pickie of it in the car?? Here you go bud, pic of the unit installed, chavtastic background image is optional I paid £465 for the work, not sure how much of that was headunit, adapter for steering controls, fascia panel, iPhone cable and labour - but that was about a year ago now, I bet you could get the headunit on its own for about £250-£300 Performance is hard for me to say as I only had the OEM for about a fortnight before ripping it out, couldn't live with no iPhone connection for my music or lack of bluetooth. Also, shortly after I replaced the headunit I also had the amp, sub, front and rear speakers replaced. So I couldn't say how much was just down to the headunit, but for me to have done the extra work so quickly afterward I can't have been that happy with the sound (the functionality was a massive step up though, I can say that). As a general rule of thumb in audio, your system is only as good as your weakest component, so if you just did the headunit I would expect an improvement, but not massive as the bose amp, sub and speakers will still be holding you back. Also when you spend money on audio you WANT it to sound better so generally you convince yourself it does In terms of the whole setup versus OEM, I can promise you it's night and day, but the Hertz amp and speakers are a huge factor in that.

Must be an AT-AT conversion surely? You'd never get two sets of golf clubs in an AT-ST! No but quite fancy rocking upto a golf course in one though Here you go, perfect.

I'd prefer a dial too, but tend to use steering controls mostly. As for the beep, I could've sworn there wasn't one, so I just went out to check. It's definitely there, but it's quite quiet, certainly more quiet than my music volume + the engine. I can't believe I've just blocked this beep out until now! It's gonna p!ss me right off, thanks

Holly Hunter is a superb shout. Jolie was my favourite for years, she's gone a bit thin, but half a dozen hot meals and she'd be tremendous. She was also very good in Gia and I liked her in Pushing Tin too. Her image scares me a bit Vik, but that's just an aphrodisiac all the knife play and keeping blood in vials. It's freaky, but freaky isn't a bad thing.

Good on him, if people will watch anything, why not make some cash out of them. I just hope he left some spare cash for drink and dames, instead of wasting it...
-
If you want to watch something good, but with brilliant female performances and a great movie to boot, go out and rent Bound. Gina Gershon hasn't put in a bad performance that I've seen.

How dare you tar me with that brush ***faux outrage***, it's not like the actors I picked are hideous looking chaps It's an interesting point you raise though Dan. The movies are full of beautiful people, so it's hard not to pick lookers as 'favourites' (male or female). FWIW Sharon Stone is superlative in Casino and Monivca Bellucci puts in an very brave performance in a number of films (Malena & Irreversible to quickly name a couple). I also feel the underlying sexism of mainstream Hollywood pictures actually makes it harder to pick women based on strong performances, as they're so often cast as eye candy only, or in the tedious neurotic wife/girlfriend role. With the exception of Sigourney Weaver, which women have had powerful leading roles in multiple movies? This is sad reality of decent budget cinema, because if the Aliens movies taught us anything, it's that men are perfectly happy to enjoy films with strong female roles that don't necessarily involve skin. So many films fail the Bechdel Test, which TBF isn't hugely scientific, but it is indicative. Also, if you ask a lady to sit down and watch a Steve Buscemi or a Colin Farrell movie, you both know which will be better, and you also both know which one they'll watch - secretly they're just like us. Ref: Bechdel Test (Wikipedia) What is now known as the Bechdel test was introduced in Alison Bechdel's comic strip Dykes to Watch Out For. In a 1985 strip titled "The Rule", an unnamed female character says that she only watches a movie if it satisfies the following requirements: It has to have at least two women in it, who talk to each other, about something besides a man.

I plumped for a pioneer avh-x2500bt, with the RGB colour choices I got the buttons and screen to match the OEM orange interior LEDs for the heater/AC unit/dash etc. You can also load up a personalised wallpaper, so you could easily just use a plain black wallpaper, the only element some might feel is chavy is the album artwork - but then that would mean you buy music with chavy covers, so it's time to stop listening to Scooter Works with Bluetooth USB steering wheel buttons etc

Great choice

Soft bags, not suitcases, so they were just jammed in and one on the rear seat FTW. I'm taking less stuff this time too and just buying fresh pants when they run out I loved that route so much, it's defo been a big factor in deciding to go back to the States.

The fruity Germans and the bulletproof cup are high points too.

'Favourite' movies is much easier than 'Best' Movies Ghostbusters The Big Lebowski The Three Amigos Actors John Cusack Christian Bale Christopher Walken Actresses Monica Bellucci Kate Beckinsale Sharon Stone If we could have had All Time Top 5, High Fidelity would have made it and so would Super Troopers.

We got three man's worth of stuff in last time, for two weeks! What the hell did you take along Tom? Top tip on the cell phone, cheers.
