  1. Mine's the same. Overnight, when I use it daily, no problems (it's an iOBD) but when I was away last year for a week it killed my battery. It's not until recently that I learnt it was on a permanent live Defo worth a test before you start ripping things out
  2. Like it a lot, covering up the nasty handbrake handle makes a big difference too.
  3. For old men or not, they're beautiful looking motors, congratulations bud.
  4. Is it even a 'test drive' after you've paid for it. Isn't that just a 'drive'?
  5. Cool build, keep it coming, nice seats BTW
  6. Can't quite remember TBH but logically speaking I'd assume that 1) when you open the door it obviously auto drop a few centimetres 2) when you tweak it's nipples, you've tricked it into thinking the door is closed, so it should auto rise a couple of centimetres 3) when you un tweak it, it should drop down again That would appear to be the sensible behaviour. Sounds suspicious that the it behave differently on each side. Did you have a look at the other reset procedure with the finger on the button on the motor?
  7. If it looks like that when you're done it'll be worth two GTRs. Keep up the good work, love this thread!
  8. OMG this is the sexiest thing ever, I don't think I could be more jealous if you'd swapped your Zed for the entire Miami Dolphins cheer leader squad and a small lake full of lube. I want to say the rear is amazing, but so is the front and the sides, it's ALL SO FIT! You must be pleased as punch, congratulations.
  9. Check the door close nipple in the door shut. This was playing up on mine and caused the same issue. Should be easy to inspect and tweek with your finger. I didn't find it until I tried the reset several times and a helpful member on here suggested it. There's also the other reset if that doesn't work. But try the nipple first as it's a 1 minute job. http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php?title=TSB_04-089_Window_Regulator_Motor_Reset_Procedure Good luck.
  10. Whilst we're on about flywheels, is the idle chatter on the SMF appreciably louder than the DMF? I know mine is on the way out so I'm curious as to how noticeable it is. A chatter when I'm sat at the lights is the sort of thing that might drive me nuts
  11. Some awesome looking motors there. Thanks for sharing the pics. Not sure about the roof rotor mod on the 370 though or the rabbit ears that chap is wearing
  12. I'm quite tempted by one of these Zorsts, how was the fitment?
  13. Makes sense. I was trying to figure out the triple word score...
  14. Looks really nice, it's great touch to any bay.
  15. They're not all ally? Was that an optional extra? Everyday is a school day here. Top work all round then
  16. Brace looks good, nice work. I quite like the aluminum kicks though.
  17. That was before parents were irresponsible, they were just ill informed back then. The difference being the first gets you on the front page of the mail, the second doesn't get you in at all
  18. I went for aerokit http://www.aerokit.eu/eng/product.php?product_id=110 But if they'd have been available at the time, I would've seriously considered the Tarmac Sportz ones http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_Tarmac_Sportz_FRP_Side_Diffusers/350TSFRPSD_.aspx
  19. If it were me, I'd do the above and also keep an eye out. If you see it around, have a quick look round it and photo any marks which may be Zed rubbs, just in case they do a repair when they're alerted by the authorities. Also could be useful for double confirming with your neighbour this is indeed the car. Then let the authorities take them down for being "An Inconsiderate Pri** In Charge Of A Motor Vehicle".
  20. Nice write up, as per usual. I've got a couple of questions: The 50cal Ambush was £15 per half litre direct from 50cal. Have you got a line on it cheaper? When you point out the difference between the bottle dilution and on the panel. My lance has a big dial on top, but I just set it to maximum open for the thickest foam. How on earth can you tell the panel % ?
