  1. Ahhhhh. He's even worn his Canadian tuxedo - double denim.
  2. You think you've got it bad, they sent me double boxes three times - got samples coming out of my ears
  3. When you say the feel through the clutch, is it just a faint tapping whilst it's depressed or something more noticeable?
  4. This little guy? Saw one down there when I was out there last year.
  5. I'm not trying to muddy the waters, but I think "intent" is part of this. If they record your call (which they will) and you do your best to explain the list of mods you've mentioned, you've given them every opportunity to ask about them and you've also offered the detail you've gathered from asking people in the know - you can evidence this. This isn't the same position as someone with many mods, who has declared none, and denied having them on a call recording - shown no intent. With my insurer, they don't care what brand of exhaust I've got or what the bodykit is, they just mark it as "non-standard" and charge me a premium. I declare the lot, because I don't need the aggro if the worst happens and because the price difference is small. The only one they cared about was the remap and the price was governed by the power gains, so 0-10% gains = £xxx, over 10% from stock = more, and so on. One thing that does occur now, thinking about it. Would plenum spacer count as induction kit given it's a breather mod?
  6. The big front end stone chips can be put to bed by putting 15 quid in a jar each month and getting a bumper respray every now and again. I find them irritating and will try and find a clear bra or similar for after the next spray. Like you, I didn't notice some of the smaller dings when I bought it, I was so excited after the test drive I wouldn't have noticed a badger in the boot. Sometimes the light just hits them when I'm washing her and they look huge, but most of the time I don't notice them - unless it's a fresh one from some brain donor at work who insists on parking an inch from me.
  7. The only reason I doubted the chap was I saw the badge beside the side repeater as I was driving off and could have sworn it said GTT. Either way, it looked mean.
  8. I found nanolex a bit greasy - maybe used too much product
  9. Simples, but I'd suggest getting some makeup cotton pads as you'll get through a fair few. Plastic should be super clean first. There's a vid on the link. Apply sparingly, less is more. You want a nice thin layer. The tiny bottle should go miles. It flashes quite quickly so if you can do it inside, out of the sun, it's easier. Can't remember if I did it, but I think you can put UV protector on top to make it last longer. But check that out before doing it. Ilogikal1 is the man to ask on this stuff.
  10. The best one I've used http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engine-and-exterior/gtechniq-c4-permanent-trim-restorer/prod_851.html
  11. Every cloud has a silver lining! it's almost worth getting married Congrats, should be a tremendous experience.
  12. Absolutely but it's still not right, you wouldn't accept having to pump up your tyres every few weeks with a slow puncture, you'd want it sorted I'm a fussy guy when It comes to my car, taken a lot of care, effort and money to make sure it's always kept in tip top condition and everything is looked after, this is the one spot on an otherwise faultless 10 year old car. Realising I sound totally anal now! I get that totally, it p!55ed me right off until they sorted it during the uprev.
  13. See what they say, it's be interesting to read their response on here. For clarity, no ones suggesting you should just reset without checking the code(s) out first.
  14. Nice job all round looks sweet. Fine colour choice that blue.
  15. Final Standings. Nice work Ryan. Keep an eye out for Premier League everyone...
  16. Give him a shot. British engineering was built on men in sheds dreaming stuff up and making it happen.
  17. Great snap. Only seen one the once in the wild, just me and the badger and dark lane. Don't let the cool outfits fool you, they're pretty hard in the indigenous UK mammal stakes. I stared it down, no big deal
  18. I like Envy's Evolution too.
  19. I keep my soap on a rope after a bad experience in prison while picking my shower gel up off the floor.... Why do you think I've got a hook
