  1. Make a week of it and go to Rio. The party never stops.
  2. If you're worried or going somewhere remote, stick a botle of octane booster in one of the cubbies. You never know when you might find yourself north of Fort William
  3. Here you go mate.
  4. FFS!! First my grounding kit, now my bracelet..
  5. FWIW I bought mine cos they looked pretty and my bay has red bits, was a total rice purchase. Never occurred to clean existing ground points as it was purely a cosmetic thing, not an issue I was trying to solve. I can tell you they made an unexpected difference on my DE with 50k miles, not saying extra BHP obviously, but I find the revs drop off smoother on shift and idles more happily. I can sell believe that cleaning up earths would have done much the same. I certainly wouldn't have paid £90 for them as a purely cosmetic thing but I'm too lazy to knock up my own and £30 seemed not too offensive.
  6. No mate, that's about it. A few people have made up their own kits with their cable and connectors of choice. You can probably pick up the various mounting points from the install instructions for one of the off the shelf kits. Edit: I bought the h-dev one, sensible price and a pdf on the link below to install. http://h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=25417
  7. Sexiest zed wing money can buy.
  8. Mine's screwed into the bumper, but when it goes in for the annual road rash removal I'll get the bodyshop to flatten it all off and probably move the plate to the grille.
  9. You find a forum for these or a decent online buying guide? My mate's about to pull the trigger on a 320D and I'm trying to convince him that the 335D is the way to go.
  10. along mate, nice looking Zed Will you've not mentioned a stubby yet? :scare:
  11. Was it this kid?
  12. Nice work, car looks well. I'd lose the number plate plinth mind
  13. Thanks nixy for this quick guide, worked a treat today, even with my limited socket skills. 10 minute job. Just wish my fluid hadn't been brimmed, nearly drowned.
  14. Just stumbled upon this thread, interesting one for me as I quite fancy a track toy. Subscribed. Nice work so far, You look fairly handy with the spanners, is it a relatively easy car to work on? I'm a learner who wants to get more socket time in
  15. The Aston's long gone Definitely do it then
  16. DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT Though I can't imagine ever walking past an Aston to get into something else.
  17. Unlucky mate, good to see everyone unhurt, hope the damage isn't too bad.
  18. Is a massive feed what you want before you get home on anniversary night and have to have your A game ready? Steak all the way, the burgers 70% bread and you can eat that at home for next to nowt Will they cook it in two halfs, so the second half is still hot and fresh?
  19. Cool project on a cool car. Hope there's nothing bad lurking inside, should be a fun thread to follow. Good luck
  20. When you said "kill" swicth, I thought you meant the engine, not the occupants
  21. It's renewal time again and Elephant have come up trumps New price is £580 with all mods declared (but not replaced in the event of etc etc). Given I hadn't owned a car myself for years before the Zed, I'm quite pleased with how much the premium has dropped off coming up to the end of year 2 Yr 1 - £920 Yr 2 - £695 Yr 3 - £580 Nearly 40% drop after two years. I know you don't really know about your insurer until you claim, but up to now I can have no complaints.
  22. They look so good I nearly ordered another one
  23. Nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
