  1. All this moaning about evolution of language, but at the end of the day... ...it gets dark.
  2. I recently bought one of these to replace two cheapo HP (half the price and half as good) printers which died. http://www.printerland.co.uk/Canon-Pixma-MG7150-P132832.aspx Does AirPrint, can plug into Ethernet to network printing, edge to edge printing for photos, quality is good and print speed is too, piano black finish is sexy Negatives, it's a noisey little thing. Takes a while to warm up from cold (best to leave it on if you print a lot). Best domestic printer I've owned, and I've owned over three
  3. Tremendous work on this, kudos for doing all the hard bits yourself. Skillz.
  4. Because it's the land of the rising sun? Can someone please report that joke to the authorities.
  5. I like a Russian handjob as much as the next guy, but not on the paint.
  6. Why is the sun strip at the bottom of the windscreen?
  7. Thanks to some "helpful" comments from fellow members , combined with a weather break, I got round to cleaning up the headlights. Properly this time, remembering to seal them after Used the same menzerna power finish (203S) as last time, but a better Lake Pad and a Flexipad backing plate. Worked much better than the previous combo and soon cut into the lights There's a few persistent marks that I daren't lean any harder on, but I couldn't even photograph them, so they can't be that bad. Well pleased with the refresh
  8. Is there a preferred aspect ratio?
  9. Some fairly lazy stereotypes there and made me chortle as expected
  10. If there's little or no annual fee, I'd keep them. It's handy to have buying power at your fingertips and if you use them and clear them regularly then you've got another A paid account against you
  11. Yes, with tapatalk "technology". It's a poor man's ceefax How is linking all your forums together in a stream ceefax related Fair enough if you don't like it but you can't say it is rubbish because it isn't, it works very well apart from a couple of hiccups when updates were released, but I am a beta tester now so only myself to blame There are other forums?
  12. Never trust an email that doesn't offer to give you extra inches, extra stiffness or a bored housewife 3.8 miles from your location.
  13. Yes, with tapatalk "technology". It's a poor man's ceefax
  14. Tapatalk blows, switch to normal or just hit "clear history and website data" in Safari settings and when you log back in, cancel away the stupid tapatalk pop-up and just use Safari on iPad, it works a treat. It should only ask you once. As for photobucket, the apps suck browser FTW.
  15. along. Never had a lady stand by the Zed and not remark on how beautiful they are. Much to the disgust of thier Porsche driving other halfs
  16. Took this as I left work on Friday, it's the sonax BSD bead after I used it as part of the drying phase last weekend, making it much easier to work with but seemingly not impacting the bead at all even with a week's muck on there. I think this is how I'll use it in future. These are proper beads as well, from rain, none of the ilogikal1 staged beads
  17. I don't think they do. I aksed my one about this, they take responsbility at all for missing stuff or if things go pear shaped after purchase.
  18. What Doogy said. I had an AA inspection on mine when I bought it, got a nice report back and had a straightforward chat with the bloke. They only inspect visually and go for a drive, they don't start taking bits off and prodding it around. The guy was friendly and helpful and I even managed to get the dealer to do some jobs he suggested, which I hadn't noticed (due to being massively over excited ). It wasn't cheap to get it and since then I have met people who I trust to do the same thing, but at the time it gave me a bit more peace of mind. An experienced Zed fiend will know exactly what to look for, but an inspection guy may only have ever seen one or two 350s up close before.
  19. That's right it's on you tube I bet. Is that the one where he also complains about the bass from the sub thumping him in the back? It's another problem with the Zed that Clarkson nailed straight away. I had to replace my sub due to the massively over the top spinal bass pain it was causing me every day.
  20. Who bothers with the odd numbered gears? 2,4,6 is the future.
  21. My clutch and DMF arrived with my tech a while back, but just got fitted today. Very pleased (not just with sending me what I paid for! ) but also some help and advice when I was deciding whether to go OEM or something more exotic. So pleased in fact that I went and ordered some more stuff today after an MOT advisory. Haribo were a nice sweetener too Thanks.
  22. I'm with KyleR, go contrast on a Sunset, you'll never get an orange to match that orange. Sky Blue FTW!
  23. First big maintenance job today, trip to Grinspeed to fit replacement clutch and DMF. Not bad considering I've had her nearly 2 years and she just ticked over 50k today. Thanks to Clark Motorsport for providing the parts, OEM for a change as I quite like the Zed's clutch feel and shift. The pedal has gone right from the top to the floor and weird DMF noises have ceased Thanks also to Stevie and Lee at Grinspeed who had the box out, bits replaced and back together in just slightly longer than it took me to clean and wax my wheels whilst The Shark was on the ramp. Very impressive work. Speaking of wheels. It's always nagged me that the centre caps don't quite match my refurbed alloys, so I took the opportunity to swap them out. Before. After. Actually quite pleased with this super cheap, tiny mod Last but not least, said goodbye to this little guy - doesn't feel right without it All done. The Zed still looks well even at 10 years old, if I do say so myself.
