Wow, that looks beautiful.

Like you Granville, I'm learning my way around a digital camera. One of the best (and cheapest) things I've picked up is a polarised filter, it's good for making the sky look bluer and reducing reflected glare. Perfect for taking Zed pics Once you've saved up to get a turbo in there along with the SC , it might be worth splashing a few quid on one. http://www.digitaltoyshop.co.uk/POLARIZER_FILTER_Fuji_FinePix_S5600_t615_131

iPad Mini Install (OBDII Dash Command!!) Page 10
Stutopia replied to Wasso's topic in I.C.E & Electronics
This is a good idea - I think my centre console would look nice with an iPad too -
Nice work, karma will dish out the rewards and punishments, a lottery win for you and some hideous gential warts for the bumlickers. Nice to see Zed owners leading the way!

Go to richersounds and get some demo time with a few in your price bracket. Watch some real content that you're familiar with, not the looped demonstration stuff from the shop floor. Enjoy!

Holy sh!tballz that looks fast as! The solid things were arriving so quickly Looks a great purchase from that footage alone

I considered blue then red but then I chickened out and went chromish

Do you think they'll let me have one for range of used internal organs? FIT.

The "...detailing is an expensive game" comment made me laugh. The repair man today asked me what product I used to keep it so clean. I think he was expecting the name of just a shampo and a wax, by the time I'd been through the foaming, shampooing, clay bar, and paint cleaner he'd dozed off and missed the sealant and quick detail stages
-
Thanks, I'm well pleased with the repair as the chap was very honest and said the colour match might be tricky to pull off. I was happy I needed to check the first photo to see where the repair had been done

Got away with it for well over a year but finally curbed one £50 and 3 hours work for a chips away man Top service and, as you can see, great finish

Dan's nailed your options. If you want the paint sorting, don't mind spending a few quid and you're not familiar with machine polishing kit, it's worth finding a local detailer who offers paint correction. Where abouts are you? Once it's corrected you should be able to keep it in good condition with good two bucket wash technique and an application of a good sealant, with regular top ups.

Nice numbers Pritchard, I couldn't see a comment saying whether or not the butt dyno felt better? Good info from Mark, this sort of stuff provokes lively debate and it's good to see some numbers and info from the pros

Forgot this when I posted above and not sure if you can still get the deal, but it was a great price and the shampoo and wheel cleaner are both ace, not used the fallout yet. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76334-1-x-500ml-shampoo-1-x-500ml-wheel-cleaner-and-1-x-500ml-fall-out-remover-for-20-delivered/

I've been using Gyeon Bathe+ for a while now, it adds a layer of magic on top of normal shampoo, so it's good for topping up your shine when it's just a maintenance wash. They do a non+ version too without the magic, not tried that yet. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/gyeon-q2m-bathe-plus-cat3.html Got a sample pot of pure in a waxybox and liked it a lot, but it's not cheap even bundled with a couple of other things. http://www.glacierwax.co.uk/car-care/wash/pure-001-500-ml-car-shampoo-2/ Heard good stuff about this, not used it myself yet though. http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/shop/britemax-clean-max-ph-balanced-car-shampoo-3.78-litre.html#aBX125_2dG There's loads and loads of choices out there though

Advice needed: building a pair of 350Z endurance racers
Stutopia replied to ShorsecRacingBen's topic in 350Z General
along! OMG this is exciting. Building race Zs sounds amazeballz, with the traders and spanner geniuses on here, these things will fly. When can we bring a load of Zs along to have a look -
Depends which bank, only the front O2 sensors are used for closed loop fueling adjustments, the rears are just for cat condition monitoring unless the is a problem with the front bank and or other conditions, but generally you can actually run without the rear set with no problems. Thanks for the informative answer Tricky. With regard to closed loop feeling adjustments, does these adjustments operate in the same way pre and post uprev?
-
I saw that after uprev, it was down to a crack on the weld on the cats leaking gas. Defo go back to whoever did the uprev and get it looked into. General question, the link a couple of posts up refers to "lean shift" for this code but wouldn't an exhaust leak cause it to run rich?

Definitely the best text only impression I've seen Have you seen Pollak's Shatner? I think you'd like it. His Walken is brilliant.
-
With the prequels and Indy IV, George broke my little heart, so anything better than that is a good start. The Star Trek reboots sucked much less, but it's not proper without William Shatner
-
Did you detail anything down under? Dirty rental car? Any unusual water behaviour to report? Regarding GW Pure, I now know why it's so expensive - it comes in an inch thick glass bottle, like it thinks it's Chanel No. 5 or sommat

More maintenance and no mods for mods sake Some winter rubber as the rears were going and I've never tried winters before, so seemed like a good time Got an advisory at the MOT for blowing flexis so cobra y-pipe fitted. Really nice piece of kit the Cobra y-pipe. Big thanks to Cougar Store for getting this out to me in double quick time, helped me out of a tight spot. Thanks She's cost me a few quid in the lat couple of months but I don't mind too much, because when she's running spot on it's a real pleasure to get behind the wheel. Hopefully that'll be it for a while now until the service after winter. Then I'll have to decide what the long term plan is

Swapped on Thursday to Alpin PA4s (it's been about 8 deg on my journey of late). I was due two new rears anyway with a couple of slip lights of late, so thought I'd give them a spin with such opportune timing. Never rubbered up (for winter) before, so interested to see how things get when it gets properly cold. So far they feel a bit funky, being new and all, but certainly no complaints as yet - can't even say they are appreciably louder than before, but I do usually have the tunes on.

Dan recommended this place for GoPro accessories, I bought a bunch for a roat trip and so far everything has been spot on. I haven't mounted it externally yet but the suction cup and the anchor pads look strong enough to support an elephant http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk
