  1. The Yaris does promise a lot, albeit not technically inside the arbitrary 33k price set, without omitting the obligatory circuit pack. But even if it weren't, what are you advocating? Toyota should have put a turbo in the 86, so it can compete better with their own Yaris? Right now they're two totally different offerings, at quite different price points. Why would they place them both in the one slot? More broadly speaking there's a case that literally every single NA car in the world should be FI, but not all are. It can't be because all car manufacturers are too stupid to figure out boost = faster for same displacement. There must be other reasons, beyond being able to talk about 0-62 / quarter miles / bhp / torque / other pub chat metrics, for selecting different aspiration types on different cars.
  2. Opening headlights has always been too scary for me, kudos for getting stuck in.
  3. What is the competition at sub 33k? I30N, Fiesta ST, Type R, MX5, ??? only one of them is a sports car and it has no boot or back seats. If you’re all about speed, the Type R wins by miles (against more expensive options too), no point in trying to compete with that, got to differentiate.
  4. Amen to this brother. The only time I wish for more power is trying to get around things on back roads.
  5. This was a good effort. And I very nearly liked this, but then I realised there was an alternative with more street cred... https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201912185442298
  6. I'd defo go for some sort of big petrol lumped Lexus for fun, but with a hybrid for the town stop/start rubbish?
  7. I’ve only been on half a dozen, I’m certainly not a regular. But typically any hard surface where cows move through is covered in @*!# afterwards. Indoor winter areas routinely have scrappers pulling @*!# along the floor, they never look spotless after a sweep. If you wanted to get into the safety, which is what the original scare post is angling at, you could throw in BSE and CJD or foot and mouth. Take it a step further into the abattoirs and you could have a look at the excrement that ends up on slaughtered carcasses and the ecoli outbreaks that causes. I’m not anti-farmer or anti-meat, but there’s no farm with livestock I’ve been on that was a clean as a lab, and people happily eat the products, myself included. If I dropped half my sandwich on the floor in a lab and the other half in a cowshed in winter, I know which one I’d prefer to finish.
  8. I love the idea that lab grown is somehow worse than the filth you see on a farm
  9. Nice one, thanks everyone, we've just tipped over the number of photos required to have a great calendar, so that is the first hurdle cleared. Just need the numbers now to make it pay for itself.

  11. Personally I loved the side steps, rather than replacement skirts. Each to their own obvs. I’ll just leave this here though. In case... https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/350z-tarmac-sportz-frp-side-diffusers.html
  12. Thanks for everyone who's sent a batch through tonight.
  13. I can put some Pork in there... if you've all gone off Zeds

  15. DA Not yet nailed on that there will be one, we're a good few photos short of a full year right now, but if we do get the numbers and it was priced at circa £20 for one and £30 for two (delivered). Would you be interested in buying one? 1. Stutopia x2 2. 3. 4. 5.
  16. There was a time when I was really relaxed about getting photos in. That time has passed. We need more photos please - we don't have enough right now to produce a calendar.
  17. along mate, good to be one of the Famous Five. Looking forward to seeing this in the flesh sometime soon. Even after all these years, a nice clean Zed looks really special.
  18. I wasn’t that worried about most of this but BRITISH athletes getting their iClouds hacked? We didn’t do a Brexit to get THIS! That’s it, I’m turning in my internet and any vehicle with an ECU and going back to the 1950s, there was never any dangerous military hardware back before the 50s AND you couldn’t steal photos because they were made of paper instead, which is unstealable. If you can’t put a half decent, unique password on your accounts, its like leaving your front door unlocked - except one is GETTING HACKED BECAUSE OF EVIL TECHNOLOGY and the other is common sense.
  19. I rather like it, particularly the ass end. Shame the head unit and glove box we’re pulled from a different universe, before being fitted but its not too bad.
  20. I can't even get mine off the roadside mate, zero sympathy here!
