  1. I went $200, couldn't resist a signed poster. I did it quickly after seeing it. before my sensible overuled my impulse
  2. A smart business decision to get rid of the presenter of a 150 million revenue stream, perhaps you and me have different ideas about whats smart in business Not all smart business decisions are made entirely for the bottom line, especially as they're not really a business, in as much as they have a never ending income stream from the license. The TG franchise rights all over the world will still pour cash in too. Be that as it may, whatever three bananas they line up for the job, people will still watch it. People loathed "Match of The Day" when it was on ITV but still tuned in because the subject matter was the driver. There's no other new cars show on TV, is there? Partridge flanked by the Chuckle Brothers. Done.
  3. Meow have you all singed up meow? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXPeLctgvQI&sns=em
  4. There's a good few film fans on here so I thought I'd post this up. If you've seen Super Troopers, you can just proceed to the website, there's no need for a hard sell. It's simply brilliant. They're doing a crowd funding thing for a sequel and for your pledge there's a range of free goodies available, perfect for any film fan. Who wouldn't want a moustache or police badge or t-shirt or DVD or signed movie poster???? Sign up here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/super-troopers-2 If you haven't seen the original movie. Firstly, punch yourself in the face and examine your life choices upto now. Then click play below, watch the opening sequence and fall in love. It's one of my all time top 10 favourite comedy movies. As an introduction, you should watch the opening sequence below. Who wants a moustache ride?
  5. No contract renewal for JC in big paper. Assume the rest will go and they'll get 20 million to work for Sky or ITV.
  6. That is amazeballz. The hand throttle/brake/clutch combo lever looks clever/complicated as **** !!!!
  7. Metal polishes? There's only the twins isn't there?
  8. Sabine already presents top gear Germany doesn't she Dunno TBH, but it's nice playing in the Junior leagues, but when the Seniors come calling you get your bank details ready
  9. Unless you need the air flow, you can retain the window and use the supplied tape and adhesive promoter. I had a sheet of black vinyl applied to the window first, which the louvre is fitted to in case I really didn't like them and they needed to come off. It also stops the glass peeking out through the gaps from certain angles. Well pleased with the final look once painted and fitted
  10. Just don't ask him to do Spanish mountain passes But seriously, good of you to offer. The two track days I've done there's been really experienced guys there in their race prepped toys and when I get spanked by one of them in a Clio I learnt a lot just by following them round for a lap!!! Once I get an inexpensive track toy sorted I'd jump an opportunity like this.
  11. Jodie Kidd's style of presenting is painful, the way she draws out a sentence makes me want to concrete in my ear holes. Someone in the paper suggested Sabine "Queen of the Ring" Schmidt as the new Clarkson, not a terrible idea I'd say... Presumably the nickname relates to the Nurburgring and nothing else
  12. That's exaclty what my hands do when I get it wrong in the Zed on Gran Turismo! Good on you for posting it up.
  13. Chunnel was no problem for my stock height Zed with a V1 replica lip, though I did have to do suggest the lower deck to the chap on the platform. The width of the track inside the train is much more worrying, even with Rays.
  14. Never really had a boner for Mercs, but that and the previous C63 do make it twitch.
  15. Re: the vibration, if it's not the cats' heat shield, my scorpion used to rattle off the W brace from time to time until the W brace was modified with a hammer to improve clearance. Worth a look next time you have it up. That drip hasn't run down from the AC unit by any chance?
  16. This is really taking shape now I can't belive how quickly it's coming together, tremendous work! Good colour too
  17. Try Steve @ Redline - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/160-redline-styling/ He's usually got Nismo knobs
  18. Calipers look sexy, very nice
  19. Indoor tent to sleep in, but it goes to Mr Handjob for a bath
  20. I continue to be impressed by WetCoat's beading reward versus amount of effort (or lack of) required to apply. Simply superb tiny dew beads yesterday morning before work. Thanks for recommending it
