My housemates and I got rumbled when I was a student. Lesson learned, always keep your living room curatins shut and never ever answer the door. He basically gave us a stern look and told us we should sort out a licence before he comes back, so we ate him Not really. We bought one sharpish, it went on the database, he never came back. I think I would play the ignorance card on a car if I got caught (assuming you don't have one at home) and then buy one immediately, shows intent. DON'T BREAK THE LAW KIDS, FOLLOWING THE RULES IS WHAT'S REALLY COOL.

They're such a great wheel, they look good and they weigh nothing. It's a shame the offset isn't a bit more agressive as stock. I'd love to buy some other Rays for her, but for that kind of money you could have a track tart

There's definitely something satisfying about it. Shame you can't lay down protection in it too

So with a spare weekday laying around, I got up, put on my detailing pants (2000 grit gusset to keep you smooth ) opened the curtains and... rain Meteo projected a two hour weather window between 12 and 2, so I waited and watched. Usually I'd find something else to do but I'm busy the next three days and with a light hoon last weekend there was a kilo of brake dust on the wheels and an inch of GTR exhaust grime on the front which I have been desperate to shift all week. Eventually the rain stopped and it almost looked like a clean car. But last week's brake dust was definitely under there and... ... you can see those run lines that form on the haunches of a zed when it's been out in the wet for a spin. A quick spritz with AMMO Plum Wheel Cleaner and then a once over woolie job with Envy Evolution wheel cleaner and there was a pleasant purple foamy pool on the floor and... ...an immacutale wheel underneath. These two products are nailed on brilliant. I won't be dabbling anymore on wheel cleaner, except what's in a WaxyBox. Immacualte, if you ignore the crap they did't remove from the wheel weights when they were balanced The run lines were still there after "snow foaming". I've used quotes as the foam was a mix of some envy shampoo and meguiars hyper wash nearly dead bottles I was using up, not a proper snow foam. A proper TBW later and they were history. The more I use Envy Shampoo, the more I like it. It's got great lubricity, cuts through grime, suds well, smells fine and leaves protection alone - perfect. (Fake beads used to check for run lines). All dried off and I was set to hit her with some sealant and perform a very rare waxing, but then this happened Usually there's a tower there, not just precipitation It did allow for a couple of fresh beads to form though Still beading on three week old Gyeon WetCoat, topped with AMMO Hydrate drying aid a couple of weeks ago, no QD or wax on here for months. Not got a final photo of the washed Shark as I was getting soaked and I'm hoping it might stop in bit and I can finish the job properly and lay down some more protection. For no reason at all, other than I like it, gratuitous sexy Rays Engineering shot.

It was the G2 I meant, didn't realise it was just IPA. In other news, got my detailing pants on for a free day of detailing today. It's raining

Hate it when there's a POS parked next to you?
Stutopia replied to Stutopia's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I dont mind close, I've had to climb over a couple of times now, I try and park one side bush facing so there's always a chance to get in It's the actual contacts that rev my engine. I couldn't exact revenge though, I'd wonder what if I got the wrong car If there was a big obvious one I'd be tempted to lay in weight and have a conversation about it, only if they looked soft mind -
I'm all for a tough coating, but can a coating not be too tough? That Prime looks it. Do they do a "removal" sister product like some of the Gtechniq line?

Can I vote SNP in England?

Can somebody tell me what a Zero Hours Contract is ?
Stutopia replied to WhackyWill's topic in Off Topic Discussion
That's an All Hours Contract In invisible ink on mine it says, "If you don't make yourself available whenever we want, your name goes on a blacklist and there'll be no more contracts EVER!". -
Can somebody tell me what a Zero Hours Contract is ?
Stutopia replied to WhackyWill's topic in Off Topic Discussion
The worst of it is the ones which are zero hours but demand exclusitivity. So you might get no hours and be forbidden from other work. Which stinks. I'm much less averse to the non-exclusive ones. -
350z Stillen Louvers Group Buy - 20% off
Stutopia replied to Tarmac@TarmacSportz's topic in Tarmac Sportz
Tad late but I can do 10% off for Easter Off everything ?? -
Well that sucks Never seen this product before but it sounds interesting. Palm off your excess to a third party for less than the rental company charge. I might use this for Road Trip Scando as it's waaaaaaay cheaper then their own excess waiver - £50 worldwide for a year! http://www.insurance4carhire.com

Not convinced by these magnetic bottomed buckets, I'd be worried all the water will fall out.

It's god advice. A mate bought an XKR to tour down to Italy and back, did just short of 6k miles, sold it for 500 sheets less than he paid when he got back. Winning, if you've got the 20k to drop in the first place I've just rented an X3 for two weeks in Denmark, £835 If you do rent from the UK, I rented on and off for a few years with Enterprise and they were cheap and decent service in my experience. Watch out for excess waivers though, they don't push them aggressively but they are fiercely priced (e.g. £1k excess) to scare you into them. They did me a Diesel Estate Passat, it was a superb mile cruncher and super relaxing to drive, if a little bit of a boner killer.

Stutopia replied to Stutopia's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Yeah that looks ace! What is it? Thanks. I was a bit unsure at first as they're a bit Mustang wannabe, but hell, who doesn't want to be in a Mustang As Jimboy2 helpfully pointed out , they're Stillen louvres, painted black, from Tarmac. I really really like them but they've hidden my club sticker -

It's parked with the back right up to the bush, with my front lip, I'd lose 4 feet of paint on the curb if I went in any deeper. I can assure you from my nosey through the window (probably some drool still on there) there was nothing replica about the beautiful leather interior Got to own one one day. -
More often than not after work I get out to my car and there's a POS next to me, with different panels all round, not one of them straight, parked 2 inches from my driver's door. There's at least three dings on it, to testify to how much this idiot doesn't care about his car or anyone elses. Imagine my pleasure at walking out today and seeing something where I know the owner has taken care getting in and out the driver's side There should be a no POS section of the car park I think, where mouthbreathers aren't allowed

Wow, that's a definitive stance. There's not even a 1% chance it is the ball joint end?

Exicting times! Number plate polishing is too far, just buy a new set
