Also there's only a finite amount of top coat one can to remove; whilst I can correct it's not really advisable to continually correct all the time unless you budget for a respray at some point, so the general plan is to reduce the amount of correction I carry out without letting the finish suffer too much for it. Glazes are also a great way to achieve a dripping wet look even on perfect paint. This is a good point, not thunk about it like that.
