  1. It was more about 30 of them in a row
  2. WARNING SCANDO EV PARKING PORN
  3. I'm in Norway on a Scando road trip (suprisingly rather enjoying an X3 X-Drive 3.0 oil burner, but that's another post) and you cannot move for Teslas here! So far I've had nights in Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Oslo in the 3 days and not seen a single Zed but seen about 15 Tesla S and more Leafs than I can shake a stick at, there's one of each downstairs in the car park and it's only got 20 spaces! Saw two Teslas parked next to each other in Oslo today (never seen one on it's own in the flesh before this trip) and the rest just dotted about. I can only assume they are heavily supported by Sweden/Norway (there's loads of EV charging points on the streets). In other news, went to the Volvo Museum today, much better than you might think Back on topic, not saying they're good or bad, just plentiful here and given this is Gen1 tech, I can only assume they'll get better as the tech matures. It'll be interesting to see how subsidies progress/regress in the next few years, if popularity increases. I really do like the look of the Teslas, but rinsed a leaf in the oil buner today at the traffic light GP, no chance on wet roads with X-Drive and sport mode
  4. I hope you gave it a good going over.
  5. Jesus they'll be lucky if there's any car left underneath Coincedentally I'm away for the next two weeks, just washed her and tucked her up out the way and pointed the CCTV at her. My nightmare is coming back to that sight and having no lacquer left :scare:
  6. Jesus, what a horrible thing to happen, you have my sympathy. Lost my Grandad to Alzheimer's and it was incredibly sad to see someone go that way.
  7. Welcome back, god luck in the hunt, really like the look of the R32
  8. Depends what you want done. I charge £20 for a mini valet 'proper wash' which includes interior, £45 for a full valet and £100 for a full detail You certainly wouldn't want a full detail every 2 weeks! You'd have no paint left on a 350 in a month! It also depends on how you view the job. If it's not a chore, but actually something you enjoy, then it would be mad to pay someone else As for the 99%, you'd soon get bored doing it for everyone else to admire, rather than if you do it primarily for the looking after it. Once you're the chap with the clean car, randoms don't pay any attention. If you did it solely for pic whoring, you'd give up after a month. I'm not going to see The Shark for the next two weeks. Last thing I'll do before I go? Wash her
  9. Why the obsession with the Bridgestones, the mix of 40s and 50s on mine when I got it sucked the big one compared to Michelins (even the Alpins)
  10. VXR? Or is it that too much?
  11. Dodge Challenger http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201401221219647?atmobcid=soc4
  12. Looks easy but takes ages & is not easy getting the larger areas level Nothing about any of this looks easy!!!! You've clearly got the magic touch
  13. I was having a quiet G&T in the sunshine the other day and an XKR purrrrrrrred past me. V8, tick. It made my tip drip. It might be next on the list, that or Skoda Fabia VRS...
  14. I would say this too It's a good theory and ordinarily I'd have gone with it, but... (1) they were all filthy, so you'd expect at least one to be clean (2) my mate lives round the corner and says they're always there

    GT-Four

Congratulations, looks stunning. Never driven one but always had a soft spot for them, I think a GT-Four might have been the first car I saw that I thought, "that looks fast stood still".
  16. I'm not judging anyone, all I asked was why?
  17. Saw a beautiful yet sad sight out on a bank holiday sesh last weekend in Sheff. In one driveway there was: an SLS AMG, an Aston Martin Vantage coupe, an Aston Martin Vantage roadster and a beautiful black GTR - not a bad collection by anyone’s standards, I'm sure you'll agree. Though, if you were picky, you could argue something with some bootspace might be handy Each one of them at first glance appeared stunning but then as I had a closer peak they all looked like they’d been stood FOREVER, the white SLS had even had someone “hilariously” write a message in the dirt on the boot and there’s green growing on the Aston's ragtop and the coupe had the thickest layer of rain and tree deposits sitting on it Why would anyone have so many beauties and just leave them standing there - why? WHY? WHHHHYYYYY???? I might start hanging around the house at weekends and ask if I can give them a quick wash
  18. Beautiful! Shame they don't make them a little bit longer...
  19. Why would I want to slag off you car? Looks like a normal Zed roadster
  20. Dermot sucks the sweat from a dead man's balls.
  21. Spring Road Trip 2015 Starts with free practice this weekend, race from Monday Two Weeks in Scandinavia: Denmark, Norway, Sweden - inlcuding the legendary Troll's road as featured in this short video. https://www.dropbox.com/s/b893u8j4hikuo18/Troll%27s%20Road.mp4?dl=0 Three men, one brand new Beemer, one brand new Jaaaagg, a go-pro, expensive beer, no xenophobic jokes - it's basically new Top Gear
  22. Snap! Don't need to handle it, I've not had any substandard quality hardware from apple since they used to sell printers in the 90s. Which one did you go for 42mm Milanese Otherwise it's not snap
