  1. Merc C63 AMG Estate (for everyday practicality) £22,175 Maserati GranTurismo (for Sunday best) £34,950 Mustang Shelby GT500 Convertible (for sunny days) £29,850 Caterham Supersport (for track fun) £12,250 The remaining £775 I'd splash on detailing goodies.
  2. If you don't enjoy driving in North West Scotland, you don't enjoy driving
  3. Reality check. Everything is utterly pointless, everyone will eventually turn to dust. All you do is have fun along the way!
  4. Has WW hijacked your account Matt? Not very progressive views on lady drivers Hot on the heels of lesson #127 yesterday, Lesson #128 - Don't Believe Everyting Car Rental Guy Says When I went to pick up a Lexus IS300H for work this weekend (need back seats), I was surprised to hear, "Just so you know, this is a Diesel Sir." "Are you sure? It's a hybrid diesel, not a hybrid petrol?" "No, diesel it is Sir." Naturally it was low on fuel when they dropped it off, so my first stop was for a fill up. Confident in the expertise and knowledge of the professional car rental man I had spoken to, just 5 minutes previously, I pulled up to the dirty, slippery zone denoting DERV filling. I held my nose and proceeded to the pump. I found it very strange that the diesel nozzle wouldn't even fit in the filler hole. I found it even more strange upon inspection that the inside of filler flap has a sticker, which reads UNLEADED FUEL ONLY. I am very pleased that modern vehicles and pumps have different size appertures Phone call an hour later. "Just so you know Sir, that is acutally a petrol, not a diesel." "Yes. Yes it is."
  5. I wish I'd drilled pilot holes.
  6. Bit of artistic licence there, it was actually Taylor Swift N.W.A.
  7. along and congratulations on your purchase. Not driven a 370 but I can't believe the narners at whatcar would rather have a TT, they must just hate standing out from the background noise
  8. When I did mine there was a bit of plastic, a few inches back, running in parallel to the grill / perpendicular to the ground. They just self tapped straight into it. It did require me stuffing my other arm down behind the bumper and holding the plastic bit it in place while I screwed it with the other.
  9. + 1.983.288 In my head, she was something like this...
  10. I never even got to see her busters Dan, just mane of brown hair and, like that, she was gone Funnily enough Colin, it didn't cross my mind to snap a photo at the time
  11. Picture the scene. It's a warm (ish) summer's morning, a dashing young gentleman strides confidently down to his handsome gunmetal Nissan 350z. The sun gently glistens on the shiny paintwork. He's super psyched about working this weekend and getting into the office, just like any normal working day. He leaps into the Zed, sparks up the muscular V6 and smiles at the meaty bark as it kicks in and recedes to a deep, satisfying rumble. He knows it's going to be a great day, the stereo even kicks in and auto selects his favourite Cheryl Cole track. He winds down the windows. He's poised to make a difference today. A quick glance, each way, before backing out the drive. Ohhh wait, look at that attractive young lady passing by, not a care in the world, summer dress floating in the breeze, temptingly rippling as a gentle gust reveals a flash of lightly oranged thigh. Today is going to be a winner. Let's roll! Strangely the car rolls forward, not backward. Oh wait what's that steel bar doing there? It doesn't look like it has much give in it. No. No it doesn't. None at all in fact. Not like the paint and plastic heading its way. GODDAMMIT!!!!! Life Lesson#127 - Don't Get Distracted At The Wheel and if you do, make sure you've taken it out of first, for parking, and put it into reverse, for reversing.
  12. IOM is good shout, keep thinking the Nort a West Zed Massive should do a trip over. North of Fort William is nice driving and you've got Trossachs and that along the way there/back too. It's a bit of mush getting up there though in just a weekend from Cov.
  13. Does it come with a knife to slice it?
  14. What's going on? I've not seen a wet bead since the water tank burst and soaked my sex toys.
  15. Nice one I can only see Infiniti and Jaaaag when I'll need a more practical motor. Love to see a write up (and obiviously pics) after you've run it for a while.
  16. Surprised Tradelink haven't been in touch, at least then it's in the community and that. Either way, take the green!!!
  17. I think I might have a better deal for you... Due to a misunderstanding with my stock broker I can only pay you in Ugandan dollars, but rest assured I will pay 50% more than your asking price and the currency is strong like bull. I will send my midget butler to collect the car in a darkened location of your choice near a ferry port, away from built up areas. He likes to avoid publicity. Please send your bank account and sort code to peter_kabangala@honestenterprises.co.ck Have you also considered getting super fast broadband through your gas? Just £1.99 for the first 3 months, £7.99 for the next seven months, £37.99 per month for the remaining 17 years.
  18. I'm confused, apart from eliminating the manual pumping, what does it bring to the party over a hand pump sprayer? If, all you're doing is shifting dust at a show, you can spray with one hand and microfibre with the other http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/index.php/checkout/cart/
  19. Andybp has done a fairly astonishing amount of work on this. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/78039-diy-rear-mount/
  20. It'd be cool to see a write up of a job like that!
  21. Very generous of you, usually some free decals or sweeties is a nice treat What's the damage?
