  1. That veyron one looks ok, GB anyone?
  2. I'm sure whenever I read reviews of the MPSS they are more durable than other brands, unless how many miles you get out of your tyres isn't a "real world" consideration.
  3. 1. tommoger 2. allaboutthepasty 3. massingham 4.Andy10v 5. SuperStu
  4. My '50 is GM (there's a small pic of it in my sig ) I have moments when I wish I'd gone for azure but of the 70s the black edition in black with the red interior is the one I really have a thing for.
  5. Youth hostelling with Chris Eubank? I think the LM blue edges it, but it's a close run thing.
  6. If isn't CG, it must be mag lev! http://arxpax.com
  7. I say, if you want it, it feels good, it's not too illegal and everyone consents, DO IT! Personally I'd be tempted to spend double on a Seiko Kinetic and it'll last forever and is "genuine" JDM YO!
  8. Seeing how much oil there was splattered about and it visibly dripping in the vid, I'd personally check the oil first thing again every morning before you put the keys anywhere near the ignition. If you've only put in 1 litre and that lot has been coming out for a while, who knows how much is in there.
  9. I emailed and asked to see the certificate of authenticity, anyone else not certain it's trustworthy?
  10. There is no law that states any retailer should take an item back due to it being unsuitable. A contract is formed between seller and buyer upon exchange of payment. Only faulty items are regulated by law. Go along with most of that BBK, but it's a bit of a sweeping statement. Formerly "distance selling", now Consumer Contracts Regulations, allow you to cancel many items within seven working days from the day after you recieve your goods.
  11. I had the scorpion then replaced it with a cobra resonated, ran both with HFCs, the cobra is appreciably louder and there is a little drone around about 2-3k ish, but I generally pull through that rev range quite quickly. The only time I ever really notice it is when I'm in a 50 in 6th. The Scorpion sounds good on the beans but I personally prefer the Cobra as an all round unit though.
  12. Love the one of el Che and the Beard. I went to Che's childhood home in Alta Gracia, Argentina. One of the highlights of my credit crunch enforced year off.
  13. ...is the correct answer. Couple of weeks you'd be okay with, but two months is stretching it a bit. I'd go in store on a quiet day, ask to speak to a manager, and get some kind of rapport going so he feels sorry for you and helps you out. Better yet, get the Mrs to do it and use her femine ways. Obvs, if the manager is a lady, you might be in trouble
  14. Exactly what I thought. Thy said as it's past the 28 days there is nothing they can do. If you read that link, it talks about 3-4 weeks for rejecting it (presumably with a view to money back) but if you just want a repair/replace I can't personally see they've got a leg to stand on. Did you ask them for your money back or just to sort it out?
  15. Surely that's covered by at least warranty, if not under "reasonable time" to return it? If you'd fitted it and then corner went and snapped off after a month, you'd be due a fix/repair/replace, so I'm not sure why they think you just have to live with it? http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/sale-of-goods-act
  16. It's not that bad, I'm not a ready-modified look fan generally, but at least it's not a sweepy generic affair like the sea of other new cars out there, plus you probably want your Type-R to be a bit rude boy or you'd be buying a [insert german low range model & marque here].
  17. It's gone too mainstream now, preferred it before it was cool. Is there a hipster smiley?
  18. Congratulations! Have decided on an SUV yet?
  19. Interesting. The wax is my least favourite bit though, I've got dozens of the teeny pots all over, I could wax Richard Keys head to toe. I want all the other weird and wonderful surprise stuff
