  1. Sat in a jam the other evening, spotted this interesting modified Corsa. Given the current weather and my frustration at not being able to get out and give my filthy Zed some love, I can almost see the appeal of not having to worry about keeping your paint clean Not seen many rats about, is there much of a scene over here?
  2. Nice Zed, nice bulge!
  3. Nice modifications to the bumper, looks like an efficient use of not much space. Is there any risk of the bumper rubbing on the cooler?
  4. What a shame he's spent so much time building but doesn't want to keep it
  5. Quick google suggests you're not the first to have mail rejected by aol. Could be some new mail rule they've implemented or perhaps you've been added to a naughty boys list at their end You could ask the reciever if they have an alternate email and try that, or if you've got another email address, try sending it to yourself and seeing if it gets bounced - then you'll at least know if it's aol or not. If it's not too secret and you don't have another email address to try it on, I can let you have mine for testing purposes.
  6. I catch the hazards occasionally with my coat on. Custom elbow rest?

I got those from here http://www.aerokit.eu/eng/product.php?product_id=110 They're in a very vulnerable position, so over time they've take a bit of a beating and the paint on mine is looking a bit tired now. I picked those up before the Tarmac ones were available, so I'll probably give Tarmac's a go when I get round to refreshing them as they look good.
  9. along, might be one or two things for you in here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/72723-bizzs-ls3-62l-v8-350z-drift-car-project-it-can-drift/

  12. Beads? General question on coatings, is it all worth it over a decent sealant applied quasi regularly?
  13. In that case we/they should bomb the sh!t out of the training camps again next week ^^^ Another thing that confuses me, every knows where they are, why are they not just annihilated and just wiped off the face of planet, literally leave nothing but a hole in the ground? If a new one springs up, do it again and again..... Boots on ground is always a tricky one for the government, it's expensive and dead soldiers is no good for anyone, least of all the brave people going out there. Also it's not like there's a fantastic record of leaving behind fully-formed, stable democracies that are capable of looking after themselves, Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan obviously spring to mind, but even as far back as the formation of Israel post WW2 and the on-going mess there some 60 years later. FWIW though, IMO this is getting to be less and less like a mess that can be ignored and the parrallels drawn between ISIS and the Nazis aren't without merit, it doesn't feel like something that can be sorted diplomatically. If it's going to happen though, it needs to be everyone not just us and Uncle Sam being Team Christianity, World Police.
  14. I know, I'm a tart, I love the looks too. The fun ones, like kids going bananas in the back of a people carrier and the racy ones, lady passenger in a 6 series (shame she was just cheking out the car grrrr ) - both in the same almost stationary traffic jam on the M6.
  15. A cynic might say the benefit is to TV Marketing departments the world over Better wide viewing angles for people not directly in front of the TV, basically children and old people who lost out in the Darwinian scramble for the sofa. They're defo worth a look next time your in Richer Sounds, PC World etc.

  17. Yeah, that's where the state falls foul of its own altruistic intentions. "We don't want to ban things outright chaps, you know these fags/booze/unhealthy foods? They do chip in a few quid." Plus it's not like prohibiting anything popular has ever actually made consumers take a long, hard look at themselves and quit . It just drives prices up, activity goes out of the sight of the tax man and into organised crime. Prohibition was a good idea in the US for all of about 5 minutes, the war on drugs has been being lost for at least 30 years and prostitution has been around since currency was invented!
  18. Whatever the insane thinking behind it, it's damn cowardly.
  19. Thanks mate, love the wheel. I didn't polish or seal anything, they're dirty underneath things and made to be in the firing line I'm a regular CC user, so I was operating it as I have in the past. I have had it flash a couple of times on the dash in the past when I've tried to activate it, in the "I know you want it on, but something's not right" way, but not had that for ages. Today it didn't respond at all
  20. Fitted Eibach ARBs and Whiteline drop links from Torqen today, friendly and speedy service, very helpful with my queries. Thanks!
  21. Thanks for the Tein springs and Bilstein shocks which went on very nicely today, not to mention the handling of my incessant questions
  22. Hope it's not as bad as it sounds and they catch the swine. Why can't everyone just get along
  23. The AC is all good, unless you're commute is relatively short - 10/15 mins. I supported the AC with a similar sized silicone gel bag under the passenger seat (away from air bag leads) and rotated it with another one kept indoors. If the weather goes really grim pop the rotation bag in the boot for double end action.
