Due to a combination of grim weather, weekend working and social engagements I've not been able to give The Shark a wash for nearly two months This is probably the longest unwashed period since I've owned her and, to top it off, I have had to do some long runs down to Surrey and Birmingham (twice!) in grim conditions. Today the weather finally broke, temps were freezing but no wind or rain to speak of Grim These water streaks down the arches are what drive me nuts. Minging, I might chunder I've yet to meet a snowfoam (even used at double concentrate today) that can shift the water runs, they're just too well adhered. Envy's Bubbly Jubbly is one of my favourite foams and does a very decent job of tackling them (when viewed from a few feet away, less so up close). But snowfoam is to soften and lift dirt, not to clean. If I was really pushed for time, a snowfoam alone followed by drip dry does a decent job. Apologies for the RDS Another big up for Envy. Evolution wheel cleaner is great, there was an assist from AMMO Plum Wheel Cleaner getting a minute or so dwell time after pre-rinse. No idea what I sprayed on the wheels last time, but it's broken down anyway. After a two bucket wash with AMMO Foam (again double concentrated) and the excellent microfibre madness mitt. All is well again I guess the point of this post (other than me pic whoring and being excited to get a wash done today) is to extol the virtues of decent paint protection. Because the paint has many layers of protection applied over time, even after a long spell without a wash, a couple of hours and she's looking in very decent condition - even if I do say so myself! This is with no LSP, QD, Wax - just some AMMO Hydrate during the towel dry.

This. Anyone who says otherwise either hasn't given 10 a proper go, or has vested interests to say otherwise. It really is everything Windows8.1 should have been, and the seemless upgrade from Win8.1 to Win10 was an impressive job too, i haven't had another OS upgrade so cleanly before. It's normal for the latest OS to be the "best ever" for Android, iOS, OSX, Ubuntu, it's only Windows users who fear upgrades (Windows ME, Vista, Windows 8) and rightly so

You mention writing 4-5k word documents, if this is a regular thing then I'm guessing the feel of keyboard is probably more important than having a more exciting form factor? Before she orders anything, a trip to an old fashioned shop might be worth it, to get hands on. I'm running unning Windows 10 on Bootcamp, seems pretty good for the light stuff I use (Office, Uprev cable, the odd executable), except the two finger scrolling is the wrong way around!!! The only other thing I'd consider is how integrated is your wife's activity into iCloud? If she regularly uses, iMessages, Calendar, iCloud Drive, Apple Music then Windows will be a bit of a pain compared to her Air. iTunes has always been a pig on Windows. If the iPad Pro floats your boat, doesn't iCloud Drive provide a "proper file system"? It's got folders and you can move stuff around, email documents, save them etc.

If you're concerned that's not a great sign, but your best bet is to get a mate/member who knows their 370 onions, or failing that get an inspection by a tech who does. A few quid up front might save you from a lemon. Alternatively, start a rainy day fund to go with the car and hope for the best.

Could well be up for this, I'm date agnostic apart from Euro 2016 clashes (10/6 to 10/7) -
I had that a few months ago, after a reset it came back, after a gentle MAF clean with contact cleaner and a reset it stayed away.

Anyone a Blogger or want to give it a go?

Arm wrestling with Chas and Dave? UFC with Matt and Jeff Hardy (or have I missed the point) Also my thread has spiraled I feel somewhat responsible and will tidy it up. -
I bet Ed at Divine and Ricey would be full of useful info, and along shortly. Some people talk of waiting for paint to "de-gas" before applying but that aside. If I was getting fresh paint all over I'd be looking into the Quartz/Silicone/Nano long life coatings or possibly even a full clear vinyl wrap. Edit: before Matt thinks I don't rate him, what I should have stated is, I'd get a pro to do it on brand new paint, rather than DIY. As it's the best chance you'll ever get to protect it and it brings all the tricky to use coatings into play.

- At last petrol car owners can feel smug now that everyone knows diesel is killing the polar bears. - Anything saying "Tesla is better than ICE because..." will troll Petrolheads and get clicks. - 10 bang for budget cars you must have on your bucket list. - Why hasn't there been a decent FF car ever, except the Teg. - Why do super fast German Luxo Barges give me a flop on? Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank? -
If you're an apple user, AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule should be considered. For Windows networks I added one of these as an extender a while back, seemed to behave ok. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001HW0JVU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

How To Add Photos Using Imgur, On Desktop. This is on a Mac via Safari, but this process should work across platforms and browsers, please PM me if it doesn't. For those who prefer a walkthrough, please see below. Steps 1. Go to imgur.com and look for Sign In or Sign Up 2. Click Sign Up and create an account (it doesn't ask for much info) 3. Click Sign In if you already have an account 4. Move your pointer over username in the top right, click images in the drop down menu 5. You can now drag and drop your images into the browser window from your desktop (see the video above) 6. If you prefer, you can click the Add Images button 7. Browse to your photos in the window 8. After you're done uploading 9. Click on the image you want to add to the forum 10. You will get a new window, with various links down the right 11. Look for BBCode and click the corresponding Copy button. 12. Switch to your forum post where you'd like to add the image 13. Paste into your post the text you copied from Imgur. 14. When you click 'Post New Topic' or 'Add Reply' or 'Preview Post', your image should appear. Alternatively, this process may change slightly if you are browsing images within an album on imgur. Look in the top right corner of the image for the down chevron Move the pointer over the chevron Select Get Share Links in the dropdown In the new widow, look for BBCode and click the corresponding Copy button. Then paste this into your post on the forum.

Nice idea I always want to click on the articles with links like, "This cheerleader meets a footlong hotdog for the first time, you'll be amazed at what she did next!". More seriously, I don't think the length of articles is an issue so long as the quality of writing is good. The biggest problem with the web being more or less free to publish, is that any lunatic can write not just factually inaccurate content, but also incredibly dull content. Obviously that's subjective, to a degree, but something well written can attract someone not interested in the subject. Where as something poorly written can cause even a subject matter enthusiast to get bored. -
