Proper Wash Guide + Add Your Favourite Detailing Products
Stutopia replied to Stutopia's topic in Car Detailing
Bin the leather conditioner mate, it's doing more harm than good on your seats. It's not doing anything on my seats, it's only been sprayed once, 18 months ago One fewer stage to worry about now -
That is gorgeous! Just checking my bank balance... GLWTS

Proper Wash Guide + Add Your Favourite Detailing Products
Stutopia replied to Stutopia's topic in Car Detailing
Most of the product variety I've experienced has been from Waxybox samples, which never featured any AG stuff. I have used their two leather products, for cleaning and conditioning seats, seemed decent to me; but I've not had cause to try any others yet as the tubs are huge and I CBA to do the seats that often Used the degreaser around the engine bay a bit, not sure it was any better than APC and I have other APCs that smell better! -
Well I wondered that but didn't know if you could do it yourself You can get a variety of things for DIY or, if you've got the spare cash, get a pro-detailer on the job. I've never used a pro (ooo err) but there's traders on here who I'm sure could take it on or advise. I'd be tempted to have crack myself with something from Gtechniq, they're not the easiest to work with and require some cleaning and prep but should give you some protection from UV and maybe even a small stone chip or too. Things like: http://gtechniq.com/products/auto/c1-crystal-lacquer http://gtechniq.com/products/auto/perfect/exterior/paint/c2-liquid-crystal I've only ever used their products on glass and my yet to be fitted polished plenum. I'm assuming your bonnet has a clearcoat on it, so don't see why it's not just the same as paint. With the current enthusiasm for these crystal/glass/ceramic sealants there's plenty of options. Don't take my word for it though, I'm still learning. Have a search or post up a thread in the detailing section and you'll get some advice from the more experienced members.

Perhaps some sort of UV sealant on top, after you put in that shift refurbing it?

I've seen a couple of posts about interference on the wireless ones, so worth checking they are hardened to it if you do.

Japday Review - TT Article #13 **Page 8**

Another fun read lads It's not as easy as I initially thought it would be, there's a lot of decent stock stuff for that money (especially if you suspend servicing & maintenance costs). -

Love a red Zed! Nice work so far bud

Relentless perfectionism, as usual Looking forward to a year of more frequent updates

Not seen one in the flesh but if I was buying something brand new, I'd find it hard to get anywhere near as excited about anything else fo similar cash. Speed, road handling, dynamics - couldn't care less I'd go at least 10 miles out of the way on every trip just for fun.

This is moving along nicely, great work

Disappointed. Managed to stay up despite the super bowl drinking game taking a very heavy toll. Gutted for Cam, the Panthers were rubbish and somehow the whole Denver D dragged Peyton to a new ring.

That is a good idea and not something I have considered. Also, has just made me think I could learn an instrument also. Need to justify the potential career change though and not sure what I would use it for. Without knowing your circumstances (mortgage, U.K. based responsibilities) it may not be possible, but given the chance you pick somewhere you like on the map, get capable in the local, combine it with a TEFL qualification and the world's your lobster! As per JP above, the female only track work could be a great opportunity, I'd bet there's women who'd much rather have a crack on a single sex day/event (not to mention a few blokes who'd have no problem taking female tuition). A quick Google and some emails to tracks would tell you how many are out currently there on offer and if there are women asking on forums or contacting them with enquiries. It wouldn't cost a bean to do some legwork and get an idea if there's a market big enough to support a salary after costs.

Pick a foreign language and get some one on one tuition.

Wahey! Mine's in Leeds too. It's clearly the gridiron capital of the U.K.

Yeah the time sucks, I take Monday off to allow an unhurried start to the week and for a gentle expulsion of 3kgs of red meat. You getting into any of the other North American sports Doogy?
 -
Have we got any gridiron fans on here? I've watched the super bowl for many years, no clue as to the game but mainly as an excuse to drink and eat. The last few years I've started to watch regular season games, play fantasy NFL and generally get more into the game - I must admit I find it an enjoyable alternative to the endless premier league coverage and who doesn't like cheerleaders? Sunday evening is also a good slot to wind down the weekend with some sports. This Sunday I can't see past the Panthers and Cam Newton but Peyton might turn up for one last hurrah. Anywho, I'll be attending my traditional super bowl party this weekend, anyone else tuning in?
