  1. I don't usually encourage blacking up these days but...
  2. Improvement. Maybe do the splitter bit too
  3. I'd go big storage then. The 6 is more than capable.
  4. Depends on what you're storing and if you live somewhere where cloud storage is a simple, always available thing. If you can access the cloud all the time then there's little point having your phone full of photos and music and other media, because you can stream all that stuff. However, if you need local storage as your connectivity is gash, get the big storage one. The 6 is plenty fast enough and if you "don't need the latest one", get the big storage one as that seems to be the only real requirement in the original post, i.e. "more memory".
  5. Car looks epic. I want that workshop too!
  6. Ambushed in the prime of life. Today is the most dangerous day for the apex predator... Congrats!
  7. Stepping away from what constitutes democracy. Does anyone know what happens to UKIP after the referendum? I mean they are a single policy entity, even its name reflects it's one idea. So, if the people vote to leave, they have no raison d'etre, we will be independent, thus achieving their one policy. And if the people vote to stay, their one policy will have been overwhelmingly rejected by the people and they'll have no mandate.
  8. Indeed, but not as expensive as getting it wrong, so I chickened out and went safe
  9. Got my dome ones from Evo-r when I was ordering some other goodies. Expensive for LEDs but they look decent. http://www.evo-r.net/product/LED-DOME/ Be super careful with the dome lights, very easy to short with some LEDs and then you've got a BCM issue to solve.
  10. Nice work, you've really gone for iron the engine bay plastics
  11. I picked up 30 of these 187x265mm tiles for the doors and boot to cut out some road noise and rattles from trim plastics. I used 15 today, so I got 15 left which is enough to do front doors, sub enclosure and a chunk of the boot's metal surfaces. Looking for £15 incl. postage for the remaining 15 tiles. They're easy as pie to work with and stick well and can be cut with scissors. Product info here: http://www.silentcoa...-2mm-mat-sample Not for hardcore, 5 of them weigh about 1kg!
  12. Got to spend a few hours with her today, first job up dealing with some surface rust on the bonnet latch. It's been irritating me for a while, some wet and dry, kurust and stonechip sorted it out. The masking was deliberately slack, so I could get some paint on the opening's lip. This was followed by some clay bar work to remove overspray from passenger headlamp and bumper Next up was adding some weight, she's just too dam light So a couple of kilos of silent coat went into the doors, boot and some bits of trim to try and dial down a little road noise and cut out rattles and resonating plastics. Whilst the door cards were off I replaced the white speaker grille cloth (which was getting dirty) with some red. This matches my kicks, air freshener and even the stitching on my refurbished wheels. Well pleased All in all a fun day taking her to bits, didn't even snap a trim clip
  13. Meh, marmite just doesn't really bother me either way.
  14. You might want to speed things up and PM traders rather than wait to be approached.
  15. If you won't engage in constituencies where you're not eligible to vote, then it's your own fault democracy isn't working.
  16. Of the 54 commonwealth nations, only one isn't a former colony, so we've been at war with nearly all of them too
  17. Oooh this is a leading question, should be fun. I voted against Nick Griffin (for Green) and he lost his seat. Democracy in action!
  18. Two of my colleagues had Leafs (Leaves?) through thier Limited companies, both leased, both as the BIK was nil and the costs were peanuts for commuting, shopping and dropping kids at school. They both rated the Leaf in terms of drive and place to be and the pre-heating app etc. One of them is just a person who wanted a cheap car, the other is reformed biker, owner of a Eunos and into his motors. He's just got a new one, the other went back to ICE as his commute went from 10 miles to 120. Go for a spin in one, I think they even do a two day test drive.
