    BMW E89

Those cockpits do look nice places to be. Shame BMW can't liven up the headunits, they always look so basic. Can't see where your scissors go though?
  2. Fair enough, I'm with you on 30 yr secrecy BS. Totally stinks.
  3. Nice! Looks like the paint's been well looked after.
  4. This is a genuine question. Do you think a UK - US trade deal negotiated by the Tories, known for their love of privatisation and deregulation of markets, would genuinely secure a more favourable deal for the UK, as an individual nation, than as part of the EU block?
  5. Thanks mate, that bit of detail there is useful. I'll drop you a PM. Service history, HPI and MOT checks all look good on one my mate is pretty close to pulling the trigger on up in Aberdeen. He'll be pleased to hear yours was solid. A lot of car he's getting for £5k, it's only done 60k miles and the only obvious problem seems to be kerbed alloys.
  6. Similar topic asking same question - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99519-camshaft-banks-which-is-which/
  7. More or less the same thing happened to me but it was a warm start fail, rather than coasting, then it took ages to fire up on subsequent starts. I got Nissan sensors from Clark Motorsport and replaced both, not had the issue since. I only did both as it was going in for work anyway and wanted to be proactive on bank 2. In terms of you're question about cleaning it. The failed one looked identical to the replacement when it came out. Nothing to clean off it.
  8. It's been confirmed now as the sound of Nigel Pearson slamming his fists on his desk at the end of Spurs v Chelsea.
  9. Although Rich's topic is a it more specific to a few models, worth a look over there too - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/108025-dash-cam-decisions/
  10. Hi-res is good but it must have a high bit rate as well, as high res, if you want a detailed moving images. Roadhawk out of that lot for me. Big res (but personally I'd go 1080 at 60 over 1296 at 30) and crucially, resolution is supported by a high bit rate (up to 20 Mbps) and it'll take a 512Gb memory card. So you get decent images and a hefty buffer for recording. In the event of the worst, you'd have plenty of footage and ages to get the card out before it loops back round, all in excellent quality. As for the rear, just buy 2!
  11. If you edit the first post you can edit the title.
  12. Glad you've got your Zed back. Thanks also for adding a "resolution".
  13. In! Great work sorting both the meet and the raffle
  14. To me, it's the MASSIVELY over the top amount of force that I find astonishing. Anyone can get in an argument and someone gets punched, it happens to even the most peaceful folk. But booting someone when they're down and repeated heavy blows, are just WAY over the top. But then again, there's nobheads everywhere. When I went to South America, people kept saying, "Aren't you worried it's dangerous over there?", "You're mad going to Colombia, you'll get kidnapped!" but when you say, "I'm off to Manchester/Leeds/London this weekend" no one asks if you're worried it's dangerous, despite shocking incidents right here at home The worst thing I've seen over here was someone getting glassed, over there the worst thing that happened was getting ripped off for drinks by a stripper. And even then, she was worth it...
  15. They could but then you could argue about the reliability/consistency of a cheapo dash cam with no maintence and no tested performance being used as a speed camera, for which it's not been designed. I guess if you're doing 90 in a 60 and they clock a time between two fixed points, you might have a battle on your hands, but for lower differences I'd be surprised if they could get you like that. PS - I'm not encouraging speeding kids. Drive safe & legal.
  16. doesn't prove contact was made, only that he was on my side of the road Sh**ter. In the dash cam stakes, I went for a very basic one, no GPS/speed or G meter. I figure I don't need it showing me 3 mph over the limit getting side swiped and some clown saying it happened because I was speeding, not because they weren't paying attention. There's good info over at https://dashcamtalk.com
  17. The total number of countries in line won't change though, it'll still be 28. There'll just be an extra deal to do. The 1 deal for the 27 and then the 1 for the 1. I don't disagree the US looks out exclusively for itself, but which country doesn't?
  18. That blows. How come your pics from the time don't count for anything?
