You can try hand polishing with a finishing polish, such as Menzerna Super Finish Plus 3800 (85RD) with a Lake Country Hydro-Tech Finishing Hand Pad (crimson) - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/menzerna-85re-cat8.html http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/lake-country-hydro-tech-hand-pads-cat24.html But, this doesn't work on all vinyls, so it would be worth trying it in an inconspicuous area first just in case it doesn't work. If that doesn't work there is no other option to fixing it yourself, you would just need to replace the vinyl.

Spacers work some and not others. They didn't for me, so I went in for an upRev to sort it. At the price, they're definitely worth a shot.

So the local seagulls, fuelled on townie chunder and leftover kebab, have a particularly acidic deposit in these parts. This is after a TBW and a go with CarPro spotless (I know it's for water spots but I've got some handy). Now if this was paint I'd clay and then polish it, but what on earth should I be using on vinyl to shift these unsightly etchings? Needs to be something with chemical cleaning power I think, rather than abrasive. Sorry for rubs photos, they're not east to capture in this sunshiiiine.

Nice write up! Roma is frustrating, Saint called it by saying you need steady hands in the last sector. That's where all the time was hiding for me. I know exactly where you mean at Monaco, though I found the first corner the most frustrating because of the huge ascent afterward. Very mph you don't carry round the bend into the climb hurts your first sector time. The swimming pool has its moments too! Might have another go at Trial Mountain, this aft, or slaughter nazis on Wolfenstein. It's s tough call.

Kent police have now warned drivers to check their brakes before setting off on journeys. Officers called on wildlife expert John Bryant to determine whether there was an explanation other than deliberate damage to six vehicles in the second half of May. He concluded that a family of teenage fox cubs, rather than a human vandal, had gnawed through the brake cables. “It is a pretty rare occurrence, but you do get a couple of cases every year. It is the cubs who are teenage hooligans now, so they are up to all sorts,” Bryant said. “They get under cars and snap away at all the cables when they are hyped up.” A Kent police spokesman said an expert had confirmed that the damage was not caused by humans. “Foxes, especially cubs at this time of year, are known to rest under vehicles, and can chew through pipes. There is no evidence at this stage to suggest the damage was deliberately caused by a person. However, any new reports will be thoroughly investigated,” he said. Each incident was noticed by the driver concerned and no one has been injured as a result. However, one of the vehicle owners – who had to pay £400 to have her brake cables repaired – did not believe that foxes were to blame. “The cuts are just too clean ... I think it was more malicious. I want cast-iron proof that it was a fox,” she said. Another victim, Tim Ellingham, realised the brake cables on his Ford Transit van had been interfered with last week when they felt spongy. “The line was cut virtually all the way through,” he said. “You could have done it with a decent-sized pair of cutters and a good strong grip in one or two squeezes.”
