  1. Wanna play that game? You win If it's s**t trumps you want... Full 4 egg white omelette. The size was just incredible.
  2. Bilt Hamber give you a big bar - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bilt-Hamber-Auto-Clay-Soft/dp/B002OHTN8C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1467833744&sr=8-3&keywords=Bilt+Hamber+auto+clay
  3. My brother and I have both got our roofs wrapped in vinyl. He had some pretty nasty marks where some bird had decided to deposit its insides over his car, and because he was at work he was unable to clean it off until he got home, by which time it'd etched itself into the vinyl, similar to the photo you posted. We used some Meguiars Ultimate Compound by hand and majority of the marks came out, but using Scholl S20 Black removed the marks completely and removed any swirl marks from the wrap too, definitely worth giving it a go! You can get it from CleanYourCar here: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/car-polish-compounds/scholl-s20-black-1-step-compound/prod_1548.html But that's in a 1KG bottle which I have, and can honestly say I'll probably be 6ft under before I get to the bottom of it! You may be able to get smaller amounts from elsewhere! Good luck! Thanks for the suggestion Connor. I've got some Megs Ultimate Compound knocking about, but a strange thing happened... I've been away for a few weeks on my jollies so I've not had a chance to try and polish this out yet, but last weekend (after I got back) I grabbed a pad and got ready to have a go at it, mysteriously it had disappeared! Now I don't know if this is down to either: - a trick of the light when I was looking for the etching - the sheer volume of rain that's fallen whilst I've been away and it's been just the right PH to neutralise and lift it - if the new snow foam I've been using has had a go at it - if the triple concentrated shampooing it got last weekend has cleaned it off Whichever it is, it appears to be gone
  4. He's the David Moyes to Clarkson's Ferguson, come into a role where it is impossible to satisfy the bulk of fans. The next lead presenter will just have to be better than Evans, not comparable Clarkson. I'd love to see Coogan do it.
  5. Farage quits and this opens up. He could do the mindless Clarkson roll no problem
  6. How does a uk based cat know what tiger dump smells like until it meets one, you know, face to face?
  7. Never wrapped anything but that was really informative, nice post
  8. Narrowly going for Zee Germans tonight, Italy have done well, but it's time for them to bow out.
  9. Fair enough, but the pace of change is so intense. It was only 1903 when man first flew something like 800 feet, 66 years later we'd been to the moon and back. The IBM chap who predicted there would be 5 computers ever, back in 1943, 70 years later, there's 5 within 15 feet of my bed To say anything is never going to happen... In terms of lawsuits, we already have legal disputes when accidents occur in drivered vehicles. Class actions when incidents occur now due to failed parts or faulty designs, recalls like GT3s catching fire or like the mass jap airbag screw up. There probably hasn't been a day in the last 25 years where someone isn't suing some other person/player/manufacturer in the automotive industry, yet they still carry on churning out new models and the industry goes on developing new features.
  10. Not when we still have junctions, traffic lights etc Yes when we still have junctions, traffic lights etc Your counterpart, from even further back in time, would have objected in the same way when they first tried to take his horse off him. All it takes is coordination between vehicles, their navigation, traffic lights and you could choreograph in real time, away from blockages and into openings, making streets temporarily all one way or one way streets bi-directional, on demand to suit the time of day or a leaky water main. We're on day 1 now, there's no reason why this couldn't be in place on day 10,000.
  11. Couldn't agree more with that. I do agree that driving should be a privilege, reserved for those that can be bothered. But I don't for a second think anyone is likely to turn around and toughen up legislation on people who drive as a chore/despite their health. If we've learnt anything recently it's that oldies vote
  12. For those that don't get it, there are plenty drivers out there who take no pleasure from driving and some who are actively anxious about having to drive. Automating driving (particularly in rural environments) could eventually make driving much less of a chore/challenge for these people and should (on average) make them less of a menace. Automating it in cities, could eventually eliminate traffic jams. I think they've already done the math and confirmed that even with this fatality, Tesla are still ahead of the average "death rate' (every 90 million miles or so in the US). I can't see them banning it, unless driver caused death rates suddenly drop to zero! Not that that's really relevant as the driver does not appear to have been using it as instructed. So in that regard, it's no different to driving a regular car with your eyes closed or hands tied behind your back - he didn't even see an 18 wheeler coming!
  13. Nice trip and some great pics. We just did 2500 milers across Belgium, France, Italy & Monaco - didn't see one 50 or 70 the whole time!
  14. Just caught up with the last three after my holibobs. They're getting better, particularly the more screen time Harris gets and the less studio time Evans gets. The really tedious star blah blah car bit is really starting to grate though.
  15. I was at the Iceland Hungary game, incredible atmosphere with something like 75% Hungary fans giving it plenty and the Icelandic boys holding their own. Bit low on quality the game but high on passion and endeavour, the Stade Velodrome was incredible too. On the way to Lyon now, had a great few days in Marseille, looking forward to (hopefully) Roy trying some of the lads who haven't had a kick yet.
  16. I don't add ballast, it always feels like you're just adding slowness to me, though I see the thinking around redistributing the weight. Brake balance is something I nearly always load up one or two clicks forward. Also if you have the Traction Control above 1, I find it a bit too aggressive for most cars, I sometimes go as high as 3 if the car is a handful on every bend. I find the wheel makes two big differences, steering is much more variable and you can be more judicious with the brakes. This is the setup I have, it's the budget end of the wheel/stand market but I love it. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Logitech-Driving-Force-GT-steering-wheel-/112025771055?nav=SEARCH
  17. The Welsh boys gave it everything and we were fortunate to win. I'm in the Lille fanzone right now, I think we can feel confident about playing teams who offer more offensive challenges than Wales did. They wanted a point and were unlucky not to get it, but we kept plugging away and got a win. 3 pts off Slovakia and we'll see the teams who really mean business. Unlucky Wales, good effort England.
  18. Perfect, don't listen to these loons Classic.
  19. Looks like a spaceship just in the shop. So beautiful.
  20. Orange looks great, very nicely done.
  21. Nice! You've got two weeks to improve the others as I'm off to sunny France this weekend for Les Euros!
  22. Thanks for sorting this Niki and to the traders also for supporting.
  23. Well, that's what Hudson says in True Lies lol. You sure it wasn't Hicks?
