They've already agreed to pay for it. The garage I bought it from have been quite helpful to be fair. Although from what I understand the car I bought had been standing for quite a bit.

I've not changed the battery, but I can't rule out that it wasn't changed before I got it. Nissan say it needs coding.

How do you go about doing an iPod hack? I'm gutted the HU doesn't have BT audio.

My oil pressure seems to rest between 30-60 once warm, but when I accelerate it shoots up close to 120. I'm pretty new to the zed so not sure what is and isn't expected.

Key doesn't open the glove box, but opens both doors. Also turns the ignition but doesn't start. I've been told the key may need coding so got it booked in. Hope that works.

I'm also down for this and will be waiting eagerly for an associate being a little closer to Lincolnshire.

Hi folks,
Picked up my zed a few weeks ago and have been really enjoying it and its an absolute pleasure to drive.
However the other morning my Father took my spare key to move the car and when he opened to car with the spare the alarm went off.
Now the keys are identical however the key doesn't start the car.
I'm left scratching my head wondering why the car opens but won't start with the spare. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Miles

Well I got overtook by a Fiesta last night on a blind corner... does this mean they're faster? I just held back and waited for the next straight
Also a lad and his father in a R33 GTR and Z4 Alpina respectively said I had a nice car... GTR was running 600bhpish and I don't know about the Alpina but that was a bit of a machine!
-
Mark do you guys use the lads at TDi North in Warrington because they're not all that far from me?
-
I'm very sorry about your brother. I'm sure there will be plenty of prays for him to return with his memory.

I'm guessing this isnt an issue on the HR engine as its located in a different place?
-
Picking it up this Saturday majorly excited. Feel like a kid at Xmas! Oh wait I am still a kid. I think...
-
Thanks for all the welcomes... Anyone located round Lincolnshire?
-
Welcome to the club... next time I visit Madrid I wouldn't mind having a nosey around that looks tidy!
-
Ok nice one I'll keep you posted and msg you closer the time I'm going to do it.
-
Sorry I'm a goof at reading the dyno sheet but what's the whp after a remap?
I could always make a day out of it I guess.
-
I'm in Lincolnshire but get around a bit. Is that abbey in near Peterborough because that's where the car I'm getting is from?
What are the typical benefits of one of your remaps and what kind of gains could I expect.
I'm not looking to do any supporting mods as I think the HR seems well tuned already.
Many thanks.

I got 14.1 last year at Pod. That's with the 276bhp model (has the most torque out of them all )
I had a celica t sport and got 14.7 so it is quicker but not by as much as you think.
1/2 mile it would be a lot quicker but the quarter isn't long enough for it to stretch its feet!
Celica must have had a fair bit done, my m8 has a T-Sport and its been up to Crail, your lookin around the 16sec region..
14.1's a good one for the Zed... I've seen in EVO they've got the 313 logged in their Evo knowledge, logged in bold writing amongst the rest (apparently meaning it has been tested and not just taken from manufacturers figures)... apparently they've managed 5.5 secs to 60...and 1/4 in 13secs dead! ...now thats pretty good. I know they prob had favouring conditions by the sounds of it but still... someone jumped in and did it. I'll post some Crail stuff up around april or so when they open back up after the winter period. Chocking for a cayman or boxster to be their...I wanna try it... lol
Watch out for a Turbo Charged Corolla going to Crail this year, and avoid it like the plague, its a 4WD Corolla running a 2zz Boost producing around 600bhp
What did you have done to your Celica? SevenMotorsport?
I don't like Lee @ Se7en, purely cos he talked a bit of bull5hit when fitting my bros Rotrex, something about he had to service the compressor before fitting it, only for us to actually phone up Rotrex themselves and being told that the unit itself is non-serviceable sealed unit. Won't go any further into it cos it annoys me to the highest level and my bro told me not to post on Celica Club UK about it.
I'm sorry to hear about that, I have heard a few things in the past but like you say won't go any further.

One is a shopping trolley that just happens to have a decent Yamaha engine in it, and yet Toyota didn't bother spending anything on tuning the suspension or steering. The other is a muscular GT car with a proper 6-pot up front and correct wheel drive. Scrabble wagon vs sporty coupe.
I couldn't care less if a CTS went past me, I'd still be a happier man.
No doubt I would agree... I'm so happy to have a proper wheel drive car again and usually I would compare the two cars it just because I've owned one and got mates that still have them... Bring on the V6

Yeah rotrex is a nice route to go but is expensive and I came to a similar pass as you. The Compressor proved too expensive to get decent power out of.
I'm quite looking forward to next season.
Any regular pod runners?

Thanks for that looking through videos on YouTube 14 seems about right so I'm quite happy.

Picking up a zed in a few weeks and just wondering if there's any mappers on the forum or anyone that comes recommended. I've got a 309bhp 07 plate zed anyone else remapped one of these and what gains have you got?
-
CTS = 183bhp/per tonne Zed = 195bhp/per tonne hmm going to be close than I'd like it to be.
-
Well my mate and I set the fastest times on the corolla drag league last season and got 14.74... I've got myself a 07 plate GT so hoping I'll beat him.
What oil pressure do people get?

When the engine warmed up it sits nicely at 30psi and cruising a bit more.
However when the accelerator is floored the pressure goes up 100+psi is this normal?
