Be interested to see what the spec and options are. Nissan done this with the 350Z kept the prices high for about 4 years then slashed the prices prior to the launch of the 370Z. I think its Nissan's attempt to make their top marques desirable the extremely affordable & desirable thus affordable cult muscle cars.

Thanks for that - Bugga

I have the 370Z with the hard drive, My question is: can you down load your music files directly from your phone into the box say from your phone IPOD a USB? I did briefly read the owners manual (during the heavy snows} but my understanding is that this can only be done via CDs .

370z Black Edition GT Worth More Than a 'Standard' GT?
K370Z2 replied to greido's topic in 370z General
The Black Edition is a Limited Edition everyone with its own individual number. As already stated some of the spec is unavailalble on any other model including car colour, interior, wheels and callipers etc. Its a limited Edition - thats the reason why. -

Anybody who has read my previous post and the members comments thereafter will understand why most people go down the service yourself of specialist once the warranty expires cause your experience is common place. Cars Motorbikes Jet-ski's every single dealership i have ever used has been "not very good" the specialist rely on reputation & word of mouth the dealerships rely on their Dealership Stamps for your book.

Are you thinking of fitting Rear Reverse Camera
K370Z2 replied to K370Z2's topic in 370z Modifications
Z Dedicated has supplied Brian's link address above. The cost of the entire kit was £222 the the Royal mail charged the £39 to process and deliver. You can just buy the loom but the cheapest i could find the camera was £135 so as Brian said its about the same so i couldn't be bothered with the hassle. -
Are you thinking of fitting Rear Reverse Camera
K370Z2 replied to K370Z2's topic in 370z Modifications
I have a 2010 Black Edition Auto so Its a premium connect but Brian answered all my questions prior to purchase & was open & honest about the overall cost of buying the complete kit from him or just the harness & you purchase the camera yourself. The picture quality on the Kenwood camera supplies is fantastic & Brian's communication is fantastic. Brian's the one with the Brains . -

Well chosen mods so far. Nissan spend Billions on research & development thereafter its personal taste. -
Just fitted a rear reverse camera to the Z. Ordered it from Brian in the States who is featured quite a bit on this forum. I ordered everything from Brian just to avoid any possible problems plus it came supplied with the mounting bracket to attached it to the Z. Delivery fast from states was in the UK 3 days after ordering from Brain but then Royal Mail took 7 Days to deliver after that & charged £39 for their trouble £14 of that an admin charge to process a payment for taxes. Anyway rant over:- It took me about 6 hours from start to tools packed & driving, my only advice is to follow Brian's instruction to the letter. I did spend a lot of my time slowly dismantling all the trim to ensure i broke nothing, clipping the camera cables to the existing looms to avoid snagging or annoying rattles. Once fitted it worked correctly 1st time just minor adjustment to get the camera exactly right. Picture quality is fantastic its as good as if you were standing at the rear bumper yourself, the guidance lines work great & will save that heart sinking scrapping noise . Brains communication, instructions and kit was spot on. Want my advise - fit it in the summer - to stick within Forum rules it was ******* cold.

Is it a 350Z youve got? This happened to mine but this was fixed under warranty (after an argument) dont no why but my mirrors would not operate either. Doesnt help but at least you know your not the only one its happened to.

I think everybody's replied the way i think i was going ... That is if the service comes up prior to the expiry of the warranty ill take it ti Nissan if not & after that ill take it to specialist. I am down to Leatherhead on the weekend of the 15th of March so a trip to Abbey Motorsport for a chat about some Mods i am thinking about & perhaps a full car inspection prior to the expiry of the warranty and sample some of their tea & toast. That way they get some money out out of me & i get some free toast & tea - i am a Geordie from Newcastle so ill travel a long way for something for nowt - the toast was for nowt wasnt it !! As always appreciate everybody's feedback.

KENWOOD DDX-4028BT / REAR CAM INSTALL – SUPERGUIDE
K370Z2 replied to AFTERSHOX's topic in I.C.E & Electronics
That is an excellent guide i am waiting on the loom coming from Brian in the US then i will be tackling the reverse camera, -
My 2010 370Z is due it service in another 2000 miles and the 3 year warranty expires on June. I was thinking of taking the car to a local specialist performance service center instead of the local dealer, or I could easily service it my self using better oils filters and all items required for the service rather that OEM parts, keeping a detailed service history & all the receipts for parts. Unless a new Zed is released i can not see me changing the car and it will defiantly be over 5 years old by the time i do change so it probably wouldn't be a good trade in car to a dealership. Just wondered what the thoughts of the Forum

Great car . Done the same as you drove focus RS M BMW etc etc 370Z is the best over all package in my opinion and is not a faster fiesta or 3 series with tweeks & no guessing no second looks its a 370Z.
-
Recently done exactly the same swap, The GTR i looked at was stunning but i am lucky if i do 4000 miles a year the running cost of the GTR made the 370Z the choice for me, did you go for the auto or manual

Color is a personal thing but in general the mods are nice. I was thinking about doing the door handles on my 2010 Zed, cause i have always thought the handles would look better blended in to the paintwork no matter the color 350 or 370. So did you have to strip the unit down, was it a hard job, were they hard to paint, have you lacquered them & do they scratch easily etc etc,.
-
So that's what its for thanks for that. Reading the manual has been on my to do list and it would be a good idea as this is my first automatic car i have ever owned however i get side tracked driving it instead .
