  1. It looks like a job that requires patience, and unfortunately I do struggle in that department. To make things worse, I have to attempt both!
  2. I bought my zed with Nissan - BMW PCD adapters. I dont really know much about the conversion, but it is possible. Here is the original advert, there may be some information on the thread, I am not a member so I think my access is limited. http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-cars-sale-private-sales/188110-nissan-350z-lalalalalalala-bmw-style-19s.html.
  3. So today was the first time since owning the zed (sixth months) that I have really felt the need to open the windows and naturally cool the cockpit. Bloody window motors! I still struggle to understand how a relatively modern car (broadly speaking) can have repeated issues with window motors....has to be a terrible design. I will attempt the window motor fix when I get a chance, but can almost guarantee that as soon as I rectify the issue it will constantly pour down with rain .
  4. I have been considering gutting the boot, ie removing carpets, sound proofing, plastics etc, in order to shed a bit of weight and expose a bit of colour. However I am not sure if I could handle the drone, especially as I still need to purchase an aftermarket y-pipe. Does this exhaust section make that much of a difference, or is he noise mainly down to the de-cat/HFC's?
  5. I love the set up above, although I thought it was achieved by wrapping the lip below the grill? But it is actually a crafted carbon part that slots on? Sorry if I have just offended you, being naive.
  6. SoCalSIdewayZ....great videos
  7. In reference to "Thuddy Tooooss" that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen! Speechless!
  8. "Chilled out" - Maybe that explains your 'spank my monkey' video
  9. Just thrown up a little in my mouth

    Wheel nuts

I have been looking at the SR48's, lovely nuts. Its a shame Tarmac doesn't stock this model of Muteki's too. Smudgedon have you invested in any yet, if so, it would be great to know what your feedback was? I have read a few reviews all of which suggest that they are prone to scratching and paint flaking off. Is there an answer to help prevent this, for example could you clear coat lacquer them? Or maybe there is a socket on the market that is lined with silicone?
  11. Which one did you go for? Could you post up a pic when it has fitted?
  12. Should be up and running again tonight New tyre (that's four now in total in the last 3 months) and managed to touch up the wheel as best possible. Hopefully I can strategically park the car in a manner that allows the grass to hide the touch up at Japfest
  13. Hopefully the member in question will contact you after seeing this and you can both resolve it amicably. I am sure you would both prefer to keep it between yourselves.
  14. Some of them you can refer to as amusing, or even downright hilarious, but most are horrific and scary! I can imagine that it is one hell of an adrenaline rush, but you would never catch me on one, bloody lethal!
  15. Good stuff. How much does the sub weigh, its huge The Bose sub looks like the lid from a saucepan
  16. Depending on how desperate you are for one, and what the protocol is for RT-Performance, you may want to take a look at this, or may even have seen it already? Nevertheless, I regard this as one of the nicest lips as it is relatively subtle in its protrusion and abutment to the oem bumper. Nice bit of kit http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/68602-350z-mines-style-front-lip-gauging-interest/
  17. What is a safe box? Is this the device that records data from each journey, ie the speed, accelerating and braking patterns? Disconnect the speed transducer/sensor and go for limited mileage lol
  18. That is a good point, one that I have failed to think of when considering a lip!
  19. Yes I have a similar intermittent starting problem. The strange thing is that it effects my rpm gauge and for some reason you can hear the a/c start up when the dial is in the off position. I have a suspect battery, but it still occurs on occasions when the battery is full charged. Sometimes if I wiggle the gear shifter, or start her in a different gear its fine, which leads me to believe it is a crankshaft position sensor. I have a new one to fit, but have got round to it, apparently its a 10 minute job. I think there was a z33 recall regarding the sensors back in 2003/04. Will let you know how I get on
  20. I agree, it doesn't look like a JDM import, which is probably a plus regarding the sale. You could check the sun visors, my import is plagued with Japanese code. Another dead give away. A lot of car for the money, GLWTS
  21. I haven't see that one, although my favorite was the R/C car and control....bloody brilliant!
