Ok so I contacted a company this morning regarding VHT prime, anodized red and enamel spray paint with the intention of re-spraying the calipers this weekend. Their response wasn't positive, stating that they do not think the product can withstand the heat generated by the calipers (even though their advert sates that the product is "formulated for high temperature and high performance engine paint applications withstanding intermittent temperatures up to 228°C"). I am not sure what paint to buy now as I couldn't find anodized red Hammerite in Halfords yesterday. Any ideas? (oh and one other thing which is completely off topic - for some reason whenever I post topics using Windows 8 at work, the forum dialogue box doesn't work properly. For instance I am now stuck on italics writing this, cannot change the font or return to a new line!?
  3. I have recently found out that I have an OMP replica wheel. It seems strong enough as I have pulled it in all sorts of directions when removing it to fit a new boss. Although I can't wait to get rid of the thing (peace of mind).....if it does sheer off I am sure to lose a nipple! Haha.
  4. Could you give it a go yourself?
  5. Bought the same nrg hub recently myself. Good price.

Cheers A9H-RX. On this evidence I think I will dismiss the carbon option, although your beast is pretty low. Looks sweet colour coded.

    Front Lip

Hi Guys, I have been toying with the idea of a Mines Lip for a while now, initially settled for the carbon cover (which I love) from Daryl because the car was stanced rather low. Well now the time has come for the lip as the ride height has been increase and I have freaking scratched my bumper! Question number one; For those who have the mines lip - will it cover the scratch area? Question number two; How long do you think the lip will last, i.e. will it be too close to the ground? Images that may help you form an answer... Thanks
  10. Spotted it on eBay, not the best of write-ups, so much repetition. Much preferred your advert.
  11. Sure, take a look at my gallery here : https://sites.google...e/photo-gallery She is a beauty
  12. Off topic...sorry. Any photographs on the brides installed? As this will be a future mod of my own
  13. A great insight to the Japanese drift culture; a long film, but pretty interesting so far
  14. My daily is a hanging Ford Focus, drove the zed for the first time in weeks tonight. Great start to the weekend....although first port of call was the petrol station
  15. Oh please!! You are fishing for compliments ; your bay looks amazing. Is it hard to maintain the gleam if it is a daily?
  16. @ Ceejay29 Start with something simple and work your way through it a bit a time - paint the battery and fluid covers or maybe the plenum. You can get a spare plenum clean and polish or paint then 1 for 1 swap so no down time - a nice hose kit some colour matched sheathing for the cables. You don't have to go to extremes - I was doing a full car rebuild so may as well paint it while it was out Cheers Keyser. I have been gradually building parts/details to add, but they seem to be finishing touches . I may start an engine detailing thread as soon as I pluck up the courage to take the plunge.
  17. I really don't know where to start, a lot of time and money to invest. Curious as to how others began and which parts/areas to consider first. One thing I do know is that I will not be stripping to the extremes of Keyser!!
