  1. Haha precisely! Most contracts are two years now and that is a long time to be with something you're not that happy with. Maybe I should be patient.
  2. 5 months doesn't seem that bad at all, considering I have had the 4s for 2 years, good to know Although 5 moths could easily turn into 10. I haven't had any experience with android and that concerns me as I know apple software like the back of my hand.
  3. Hi guys, completely off topic but I was hoping for an opinion or recommendation. I am due a phone upgrade, currently using an iPhone 4s 64gb. I have been using apple phones now since the 3GS and ideally would like to upgrade to another iphone, however the 5s is a bit old hat now and the anticipated 6 is a long way off. Now I can either upgrade to the Samsung galaxy S5 and sell my immaculate 4s to recoup as much money as possible. Or opt for a sim only contract, dramatically reducing my bill. I am concerned that I will probably find it hard to get on with the S5 and it will be a PITA converting all aps and music over etc. What do we think? Has anybody swapped from apple to Samsung? What do we think of the S5 (those that have them?) Thanks

Thanks Tarmac, I have spent far too much on the car over the last month or so; additionally I paid £300 to have the front end smoothed and re-sprayed less than a year ago. I'm not sure I can just throw that kind of investment away and buy a new bumper. Would look nice though.

Problem solved by a kind motorist that didn't bother to leave their details, P. Rick! Re-working of the bumper around the headlight as it has creased up and respray. Probably a new headlight too as it is badly scuffed! Just after I have spend over £400 on a new lens today. Not chuffed.
  6. I agree, think it suits black wheels and helps to differentiate between the low profile tyre and wheel from a distance.
  7. I'm going to give this a go when I get the wheels refurbed. I like it, could be a pain to maintain though
  8. Amazing photos! A good friend of mine owns an early 260z that I believe has a 240 body? I'm sure he would correct me! Regardless; they are beautiful cars! Would love to own one, sound amazing too.

    worth a watch...

    Epic!! Very clever.
  10. Used to drive the Zed to Filton from Bath most days. Over the period of two years I only managed to get one wave from a fellow Zed owner.....Harryjax. Didn't see many around. Seems like a few more have popped up recently, although rarely venture out that way now.
  11. Wow the clarity of this photo is impressive! Nice photo
  12. 1. How far you drive per day on average as part of your job - Six mile round trip. 2. What do you drive, what do you do - Smart Car; architect (part two). 3. Best bit of about driving - Smooth winding roads (in the 350) or the funny looks I get when I step out of the smart car (rather cosy). 4. Worst bits - Parking zones and traffic. 5. Do you have admin to complete with your job - Yes. 6. How many times do you fill up per week - Smart Car; once every three. In 18 months of ownership I have never filled the 350 up as it then sits too low 7. Where else do you stop off during the day apart from a petrol station - I don't. 8. Do you use the same place - Yes 9. Is filling up a pain - No? 10. What is the biggest pain about filling up - Queuing/Wasting time, unfortunately I live life by the clock. 11. Do you use BP, and if so what makes you come back - No. 12. What would make you use BP more - Proximity to the workplace. 13. What petrol station brand do you use most - Esso.
  13. Enjoyed the read, hats off to the both of you
  14. I wouldn't want to drive it now in fear of scratching it; plus it will get dirty
  15. Cheers Octet. At some point I will be fitting a new clutch and flywheel and thought I would use that as an opportunity to upgrade the rest of the exhaust, manifolds are the only element remaining. I have no idea what state mine are in. Labour costs aren't an issue as the old man is a grease monkey and I will use his garage. Although outright expenditure will be. I will have a read about 370 headers, didn't realise that mod was compatable. Thanks

  17. 350z DE. I am pretty certain that you sold a set Octet? So the big question; ceramic or SS and which ones are you not supposed to wrap?
  18. I am sure many of you on here have imported parts from the US, especially the professional traders. In layman's terms how are the import fees calculated and is it much cheaper purchasing offshore? Surely it cant be as we all would be doing so. Ok I will stop beating around the bush; I would like some DC Sports headers Thanks
  19. £280 isn't that bad really, i suppose the extra cost will be incurred at the bodyshop. Could be a temporary fix, but the bonnet is on the cards. Thanks for your help
  20. Thanks for your response Alex; something like these? http://bit.ly/1rQ3KRw Concerned the bonnet would be completely out of line with the top of the wing.
  21. Tonight I noticed that my shiney strut brace has a slight mark on it where it is possibly fouling the underside of the bonnet. I have always wanted a facelift bonnet and presume this would resolve the issue. Where can I buy one and do we know for how much? Could bonnet spacers be an interim remedy? Has anybody fitted them on their beast? Could look pants though as the bonnet would be foreseeably higher? Or I could try to reduce the strut spacers installed as part of the H-Dev plenum spacer kit. Hmmm.....options
  22. Cool hoses! How come they pull so much money? Is it because of the brand, Samco? I am in the market for some, just curious as I am comparing to another set that are for sale. Thanks
