I've got carbon bumpers coming to replace the chrome ones Leave the bumper off, it looks tough. A good friend of mine has and it looks epic. This is an old pic, the beast looks even nicer now. So envious

Without doubt the owner is at fault and this is the case 99% of the time. Any breed of dog can be aggressive, some cause more damage than others due to genetical strength and power. We have a Rottweiler and have been strict with him form day one; consequently he is a gent and a joy to be around. On the other hand we inherited a cocker a few years back that was spoilt rotten by my grandparents and needless to say she can be a handful when trying to discipline her (for example you cannot get near her when she has a treat). Other than that she has picked up the basics and is very affectionate. I do not blame the dog in question as it is cooped up all day every day, never walked and malnourished. I can't imagine how this dog is feeling with its lack of attention, exercise, stimulation and socialisation. The welfare of this young dog is under threat and it is foreseeable that something else could happen in the future. It is a beautiful dog in need of a respectable keeper. With regards to the little man; he is hanging in there although has been struggling. The vet located a piece of shell/bone lodged within his air passage of which has impeded his breathing. Unfortunaly he isn't eating and therefore is being drip fed. Infection and trauma remain the main concerns and I don't think we will get the all clear or know whether or not he will make it for a long time. As mentioned before they are very slow healers and are renowned for developing issues further down the line due to metabolism speed etc. The vet however does sound positive and has mentioned to our amazement that he has seen worse. Tortoises are very robust and determined little buggers. He is healthy and has been cared for religiously over the eight years he has been around. Couple this with the knowledge and professional surveillance he is under, then he has a fighting chance. All we can do is cross our fingers as only time will tell.

I always wonder this and vise-versa when you snap away and somebody features in one of your favourite pics. I often think afterwards when reviewing them "I wonder where in the world they are and what they are doing right this moment" It's amazing; those memorable moments you capture in life and the diverse range of people you share them with without knowing them. One common point brings you together.

Some trick additions, nice motor. Did you collect it from the Fast Car unit? Pretty sure that is where the attached photo was taken. It's within close proximity to a friends Japanese tuning/restoration company...Zealou5.

Thanks for your reply Jez, I think I will attempt the washers first as that seems pretty fool proof

I am tempted to sand them down although trying to get all eight exact will be tough. The spacers you have; are they smaller in height? Or would they be to replace the ones I am sanding if it foreseeably c0ck it up

The son who owns the dog couldn't be bothered to leave his room and come to the front door. The old man seemed remorseful but half asleep or half cut so hard to tell.

Not really, they are complete wasters but that won't suffice

My neighbor`s tortois was attacked by his dog and he went to the veterinary,..........he "repaired" the damage with glue and gave a antibiotic injection................up to now everything is ok...............wish u all the best That's good to know Z_L, fingers crossed

Thanks guys. The reptile specialist proved to be extremely knowledgable and professional. He has given us hope but at the same time has made us aware of the potential struggles out little man faces; predominantly infection. He has been kept in the reptile hospital to be wet bandaged twice daily and given antibiotics and pain relief, once all of bleeding/discharge has stopped he will require acrylics to repair shell damage but this is much further down the line. Poor fella must have been petrified; one of our neighbours knocked on our door with one tortoise saying that they found a dog running around with him in his mouth. We found the other one in horrific shape a few gardens down As dog keepers ourselves we appreciate that it is the owners fault and not the pet. Unfortunately for the dog he is malnourished and kept in the house, and frequently escapes on to the highway. Judging by the breed and the owners I assume it was a status purchase which is now neglected. We have reported the health and wellbeing of the dog to the RSPCA and have been advised to inform the dog warden of the incident and it's frequent escape. Unfortunately that's all we can do and our remaining tortoise (who was saved in time) has to be kept in the house as it is no longer safe outside in his enclosure. Thankfully I haven't bumped into the owners yet!

Exactly my fear Martin as the shell is in pretty bad shape, felt like burying my fist in the owners face as I have repeatidly had issues with their dog entering our garden. The problem is trying to find a specialist also. Thanks for the advice

Does anybody have experience with Tortoises? One of ours has been badly injured by a neighbours dog Horrific damage to the shell. Off to the vets but know that it is a very specialist subject. Thanks

Hi Jez, I purchased the DE spacer kit from you a fair while ago now. Since replacing the OEM strut brace with an aftermarket one I have noticed that it now fouls the U/S of the bonnet. I think the answer is to reduce the height of each alloy spacer you provided in your kit, thus reducing the height of the brace. Ideally I would replace them or I can try to grind them down (however this may not be accurate). My question to you is; Do you know the height of the alloy strut spacers you provide in your kit and do you have any idea where I could find replacements? Apologies the car is in the garage so I cannot pop out to measure myself. Thanks CJ

Thanks for the heads up GM and Richie some of the Isotta's are really out there! Nice range. Yes Lacky that exact video is why I want to replace my rep, although it is much much stronger than their example

The lengths we have to go to when working on low cars....PITA Can't get the ride height right now that the side steps are on. Seems like the offside step scrapes all too often!
