  1. Balls! The half shafts don't click into place properly. I just had a note from Jez to explain that they slide about and don't click in. Now need to get hold of both diff output shafts from a 350Z with the auto transmission. Obviously this will introduce a bit of a delay.
  2. I found mine too. Been in a box of crap I never looked at since a couple of weeks ago when I found my OEM cats and filters etc.
  3. Nope not off to japfest-I'll be in India again. Eating all the curry!
  4. Nah just lived there since uni. For about 15 years! Many friends all over Soton and surrounding areas.
  5. Yeah ask Adrian - a kit from Nissan with various bearings and seals. You from Southampton? I visit regularly so should go for a pint (non-gay) some time.
  6. Tell Taras at RT Performance you like their work!
  7. Thanks Josh! I miss it! I'm picking it up on Monday evening! Can't wait to give it a test drive. Jez tells me that the shifting is much smoother: fast, not too hard and locking up nicely. No slipping.. The overly harsh shifting affected my enjoyment of an otherwise amazing car so I'm hoping to have this greatly improved. The other changes around cooking will give more peace of mind. Would be good to go along to a meet up now it's all ready.
  8. What's the beef between Ecutek and Uprev? They both provide the same outcome, do they not? I'd like some informed opinion on this one!
  9. I'm afraid my intimate details must remain intimate details.
  10. Hahahah you guys crack me up. It's one way to get a suit that fits plus alterations on stuff that doesn't quite! Not that expensive, either.
  11. Can you turbocharge an Aygo? That'd be a riot! I saw some turbo / engine swap K11 Micras recently. Amazing!
  12. I know! But you could say that about anything bought that's not raw materials. I have skills in many areas that would allow me to say "It's just a bunch of materials and some small effort to assemble" but I don't have those particular skills, and of course - how much faffage would be required adjusting the resonators till they sound just right without making a mess of the flow? I'm happy to pay for a good job well done. Imagine if I'd said that to my tailor: "you want how much for a jacket? It's only a few yards of cloth and stitching!"
  13. I'm quite open about costs! See my blog for that. I'll let you know when I know fully.
  14. It's going for a small check up/adjustment once the resonated pipes are on, as they do affect flow differently to the straight pipe Car is going well. Making around 475 horses at the moment. Gearbox shifting nicely, locking up as it should, no slipping etc.
  15. £600 all in. They'll arrive in about ten days.
  16. I spoke with Motordyne in the US, who said to me that they are literally just wrapping up a palette for them, so I called Tarmac and ordered to get it on the same palette D
  17. Right then. Motordyne ART pipes ordered. Resonated test pipes that actually fit the 7AT. My neighbours will be happy! Tarmac Sportz are the UK distributor, so I've gone there.
  18. Nope. No legal advice suggested, they actually told me: "you'll never have to pay anything. Sign here"
  19. We have three British Shorthair cats, two blue and one cream & white who is a fluffy freak with long hair: Montagu (& the Mrs) Marwood Mabel
  20. Jez news: Low speed initial mapping done today, tomorrow will work on the rest of the map and the torque tables.
