  1. Get the book Nissan 300ZX / 350Z "The Z-car Story by Brian Long and it will give you the history of the Zed including all the design info.
  2. Fixed You must be a OEM zed owner! Shame Heheh nah I've done a few bits (see sig) but don't get the whole 'suspension has collapsed' look! Each to their own though It's not to everyone's taste but I think it looks good. Yeah the drivability will be compromised but that's what "stanced" is about Stevie Wonder has obviously joined the club..... It looks awful end of! No point in having a Z if you do that to it. Just buy a Micra and 'Stance' that! Its a bit like kids who have there trousers around their ass and think its "cool"...
  3. Lovely car, but needs a "stubby" ..Good Luck with the Sale.
  4. All the time in Town.. 0 to 40 is more relevant to my driving
  5. Is there any coating to keep it looking like that when been used on the car.
  6. Have a look at these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-M3-DTM-STYLE-WING-DOOR-MIRRORS-BLACK-WITH-GLASS-ELECTRIC-LED-INDICATOR-NEW-/400557718554?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3A350+Z&hash=item5d4319bc1a
  7. Not sure about this...?? :scare:
  8. Its not parked there, she is driving down it into the car park..!! :scare:
  9. I did mine in about a few hours, but its not a shiny as that, but it look nice and clean .
  10. Wire wool and elbow grease and then finish it with a good metal polish. That's how I did mine anyway..and it looks good think the one in the pic is chrome plated.
  11. Very good video, nice driving. Love Oulton Park as a circuit . Last race I did was at Oulton in the Fiesta Challenge.
  12. This is one way of avoiding paying for parking..!!!
  13. Lots of members on here have taken off the number plate surround...!
  14. I would assume the LED's got busted and originals are expensive to replace.
  15. The Tickford Turbo Capri was the one to have, but even that had only 190 bhp and it cost well over 20 grand in the mid 80's. I think the iconic RS Sierra only had just over 200 bhp and even when I looked into getting a second hand one in the late 80's insurance was close to a grand and I was 40 at the time with max no claims . Pete The Capri to have, which was very rare was the RS 280T only 200 built for homoligation to Group 5 racing, I had No 188 of the 200... Never heard of that one. I know that less than 100 Tickfords were built and that Turbo Technics built a number of semi official Capri 2.8's. There was also an RS2600 and an RS3100 but The RS 280T is a new one on me. Any pics? Pete I will have to dig them out as it was built in 84 and I had it in 86, they were built in Cologne and all were left hand drive, in silver with black RS Recaro interiors It was very easy to tell an original RS208T...measure the wheelbase they were 9" longer..
  16. Thanks, that's put my mind at ease a bit. I have been offered it on the limit of my budget. How would I be able to check why it was a CAT D? Ask the seller, he will have checked with the previous owner what work was done. Luk's 2005 is a very nice car and its under your budget, worth considering.
  17. He seems a reasonable guy who is selling it, I had contact with him when I was looking for one and he was very helpful, unfortunately somebody else bought the one I was after, he sell quiet a few Zeds. Price is OK, but I'm sure he will move a bit, check exactly what the damage was.
